My first electric shaver and I love it so far. But I'm sure it's what you pay for. I got this one because it's very similar to the one I decided on and it's about half the price. Great starter shaver for sure. Im still getting used to it so there is a lot of irritation. This one and the $50 one I almost got both have type c chargers. That doesn't seem very common for shavers yet but it's a big selling point for me. It gets closer than shaving cream and 5 Gillette blades, but there's a lot of skin irritation, which I think will stop when I get used to it and get better at it.I keep my hair as short as hair clippers will buzz and I just now shaved my sideburns really high and i just kept going. It's even easier to shave my head than my face with this. This is a great solution to getting hair all over myself and having to take a shower every time I cut my hair. It all gets trapped inside, but I had to stop and empty the hair often. It was very short from buzzing it yesterday or I wouldn't have tried it, and I did notice today that the instruction box seems to call it a head shaver.Edit: so easy to use now that my skin is getting used go it. And not gonna lie, I did not plug it in before I used it. Probably would've been a lot easier if I did that first.Cons: battery doesn't seem to last very long. I fully charged it and then put it away. A day later I used it and it was unbelievably great in my face. But when I got done and started on the sides on my head, I could hear it dying. So I hooked it up to a 4 foot charger and it shaved my head beautifully, though I felt the need to empty it about 6 times. It doesn't have anything to indicate when the battery is low or done charging. The red light comes on when I plug it in and stays on when it's done unless if takes more than 12 hours to charge.I am loving the foil style electric shave. I have never shaved my head without a mess or irritation. This is a game changer.

This is an excellent shaver with a cleaning difficulty. I bought a new one the silver one in the first photo. The other three photos show the first one and unfortunately the new one as well how when opened to clean the blade falls out after around two openings. The difficulty is putting it back together which is a balancing act between the foil top, the blade and the top of the razor where the blade fits. This blade will not stay on it or clamp in so everything must be aligned up slowly and carefully then snapped together. At first with the first opening the blade stays on top of the center pole holding it and it is easy to brush and clean the snap back together but after about two or three openings the blade falls off and it must be put back together tediously and carefully. What I think is needed is something in the attachment of the blade that holds it there so it can be brushed and cleaned or a secure clamping in of the blade to the center pole even if it comes apart. Now it is a floating thing that is very difficult to put back together. Other than that this is an excellent razor and I would buy it again. I returned the first one and because I did not report the flaw in time due to the seller emailing me over and over to ask me to send photos and explain I only got half the price back on the return. The new one now has this same problem but I am not sending it back. I will just do the difficult cleaning balancing act to put it back together after cleaning since it's a great shaver. I would like the seller or the maker to look into the flaw I've mentioned in the opening and closing to clean it. Perhaps some sort of more secure fastener can be made to hold the blade. That is all. This is not meant to be a negative review. It's a great razor and I've given it an all over 4 star rating only because of the one cleaning flaw.

Initially the shaver was great but after a few weeks it stopped working! I charged it once and that lasted weeks but when it died it won’t recharge!

First shave didn't go well. This is for 5 o'clock shadow at best or else you will irritate skin. Beautiful device but let's say you have 1 hour and shaved half your face before court u gonna be late 100%

As an airline pilot I have to remain clean shaven all the time. My travel system is highly refined and each item has to be highly useful and effective to be included within it. I need simple, durable, easy to clean, and compact. I have traveled and used this little rechargeable shaver for over 2 years now and love it. It is a superior shaver over the many other Braun shavers I've bought, used, and thrown away. USB charging is easy, no AA batts needed, and the integrated battery provides a more powerful shave.The closeness is adequate. If you want a super clean shave use a safety razor and shaving cream. But I use this when I'm sick of that process (frequent) and touching up with the Styleader works just fine and you'll look acceptable for the day. Highly rec'd and it's a no brainer purchase at its low price. (this was a purchased item by me, not given free for a review, beware of those!)

The media could not be loaded. This shaver worked really well when I first got it to shave my head and face wet in the shower. It wasn't long before I noticed it slowed, and the charging light didn't come on. It still takes a charge, but the light doesn't work. I thought maybe the foil or blade was damaged or worn out so I replaced both, but the problem persists.If I move the head, or rap the the body of the razor on a hard surface it will speed up briefly. This happens even when fully charged and with the new head.My old Panasonic was awesome. My hair is coarse, but the Panasonic would automatically increase the power and keep it wurring along at full speed.Unfortunately, Panasonic and most other brands have added stubble trimmers between the foils which irritate my head.Too bad this one didn't "cut it" for more than a couple of months.
