I liked that the clasps screwed on rather than having to rivet. They held the trunk hood closed much tighter than the original set but unfortunately with the bike vibration, the smaller mount clips broke free from the lid and know i HAVE TO REPLACE THE ENTIRE LID

Good product!
I broke one of my latches and decided to try a set of these. The packaging was good and there was no damage. The appearance is just as good as the much higher OEM latches. I did have to slightly modify my spacers that these mount to that fit between the bottom part of the latch and the tour pack. The mounting screws seem to be slightly bigger than stock and the bosses on the lower section of the latch are also a little larger - so the bosses will not insert through the spacer without drilling the holes in the SPACER to 1/4" for clearance. Otherwise it was a simple quick bolt on affair and I am vey happy with my purchase.
