I’m very pleased. It’s nice and thick and you don’t need much. This month I had arm and leg casts removed. The skin underneath was dry, flaky, itchy and disgusting. This works wonders! I had hardware out in and they told me not to use lotion on them and this is natural and great. I feel like it’s probably helping with the scars too.

This is a great oil to add to your natural hair care routine if you want to grow your natural hair. I have used this castor oil for years, and my hair and scalp love it, and no, it's not too thick (just make sure if you have greasy hair, this may not be the best oil for your hair type), but it works great for my 4C natural hair. I love that it does have a little moisturizing effect, even tho it's not to much. It virtually has no scent, so if you don't like the herbal smell, you will be fine, but I love it, so I have no problem with it. I love that this oil is budget friendly because I use it a lot as it is a thick oil you don't need a lot, so a little goes a long way. You can have this oil for months and get the most use out of it. The last note is that I use this oil overnight if I see a pimple, and it dries out the following day. My skin is sensitive, and most acne products irritate it so this has been a lifesaver when I get a pimple. I have used this castor oil for years, and the quality has never changed, so every few months, I make sure to grab a few bottles to stock up. Worth the price and works both on my hair and skin.

Very thick , has the castor oil order which you can tell that it’s unprocessed . Moisturizing and I use it for my hair face and my entire body. It works amazing. Just don’t like the smell which does last long after using it

Update:I used several brands of castor oil for improved eyebrow thickness. No visible change. However, the oil's viscosity (thickness) helped to maintain skin moisture and in combination with an inexpensive body lotion improved the efficacy of both and reduced the residual effect of oil on the skin.Castor oil has been around for a long time as a hair care and moisturizing product, and is useful when combined with body lotions or hair care products which also helps to minimize the strong aroma. The consistency is thick and a few drops (2-3) are all you need. NOW Solutions is an inexpensive way to try castor oil to see if it suits your hair and skincare routine. Hope this helps. MDC

This castor oil is thick, but works great! Cleared up my daughters breakouts and healed a cut she had on her finger.

This is my second time buying this product and I didn’t realize I hadn’t written a review yet but It’s safe to say that I love this product. I use it for two different things, my 4c hair and scarring. My first review will be on my hair.This is extremely moisturizing and helps my hair thicken and grow. My hair is stubborn and doesn’t like to grow but using this really helps it thicken and once used enough, it starts to lengthen as well. I definitely recommend this for hair usage. The way that I use this on my hair is no different from when I’m regularly greasing it, I do it once or twice a week after a shower while my hair is wet then wrap it up. The next day it’s as soft as it can be and stays that way for a few days.Secondly, scarring. I highly recommend this for any type of scarring but most importantly, new scars. I have used this on both new and old scars but I find that it’s more useful when dealing with new ones. Only a few weeks in and my new scars have lightened enough so that they look like old scars vs my old ones still look the same or they are a tad bit lighter. This definitely doesn’t remove them completely but it doesn’t help your skin heal up a little bit faster so that your not feeling self conscious about yourself. I just recently got bit up by a bunch of misquotes and spiders and which my skin is very sensitive to any type of bug bite, my arms and legs have scarred up quite a bit but with the help of this I know that they’ll lighten significantly in a short period of time.I’d also like to note that you DONT have to be consistent with the “treatment” I have a very crappy memory and often forget to use the castor oil on my scars at night but they have still shown signs of lightening up even with my forgetfulness. Btw, it works on stretch marks as well but it does take longer to see results — in my opinion — vs regular cut or bite scars.

Caster oil should always be in a glass jar not plastic it absorbs int the oil ..
