This is a great alternative to wheat pastas! There are cheaper brands now available, but I prefer Dr. Gundry's because the noodles are longer, thicker and firmer; more like Italian pasta.

Sorghum noodle
This is the only noodle I eat,now. It is delicious. The noodle stay whole the first meal and break to smaller pieces later. Low on the GI chart. I don't miss the other noodle.

Need to order several packs if your substituting for wheat spaghetti
Good for spaghetti loving diabetics.. only small bump in blood sugar. Nutty veggie flavor. Wish it cost less.

It’s not KETO Pristine, but close enough and our best to date
We’ve been doing our best to find low carb, sugar free foods have more meal selections. Prior to this, we found lentil pasta in our grocery store in various shapes to take 1st place. We feel the taste of this one is the best. It boils beautifully in slightly less water and closer to the time stated on the box. Great for our favorite “drive by” meal, with quality jarred sauce and 85% lean, grass fed beef. There’s a great Keto bread recipe we have and if it’s down to a couple of slices remaining, a wonderful pair… and don’t forget to add or have grated Parmesean on the table!

Not Recommended as a Pasta Substitute
Sorghum is a species of grass widely used throughout the world as feed for livestock while its syrup is used as a sweetener. The plant is used for ethanol production. It is also trraditionally made into couscous, porridge or flatbreads. Recently, it's being sold as a rather expensive substitute for pasta because it does not contain gluten. Nevertheless I would not say it is a viable substitute! It does not absorb sauce, and frankly, doesn't taste like pasta at all. I wound up with a bowl full of stringy somethings swimming in sauce (even after leaving it overnight). Not good. And expensive, to boot.

Pretty good but taste and texture are so so
I’ve had other gluten free pastas that are better. But if you need to go lectin free and there’s no other choice and you love pasta, it’s better than nothing.
