Don't waste your money on this brand
I bought one of these modules last Wednesday. I went to try it out and it was an out of box failure. The UV light never turned on. Not once. I fully charged the battery and even followed the drained battery instructions just incase that was the issue (it wasn't). Anyway, per the instructions I turned the module on and it blinked green once every 3-4 seconds. However, no UV. No matter how many rounds I tried to put through it it would not flash the UV light when something passed the sensor. I returned the module to the store where they compared it to another module to make sure it was broken. The module they grabbed flashed the UV light when it was turned on confirming mime was defective. I swapped mine out with the one I saw working in the store. I took it home that night, gave it a full charge, then started putting bbs through it. It died after about a mag and a half. Same symptoms as the out of box failure. Green flashing 3-4 seconds but no UV. It was working great then just died mid mag. I returned it a second time and traded it in for the acetech bifrost. I ran 5 mags through the bifrost and it works perfectly. Don't waste your money on the valken. Thankfully the store I go to was very helpful but you may be out of luck if yours doesn't die on you as fast as mine did. If you do get a working module another thing I wasn't super happy with it the plastic tube that goes from the uv module to the end of the can. It doesn't sit on there very snug at all. If they excepted the plastic housing to give the tube more to grab on to it would be fine but it has barely any purchase to it and it would angle ever so slightly when I put it on. If I were them I'd make that tube fixed to the other end somehow or move the charge port so it doesn't have to come off at app. Anyway, like I said, stay away from this. There's better, more reliable, and cheaper options out there.
