Well made, works well as fire protection of papers and cash
I use these to contain important papers and cash in my safe. In a building fire, he inside of my 350°F rated safe will not (hopefully) go above 400°. Nothing will burn. The fire will be put out, the safe will cool and the air that expanded and escaped will be drawn back in, along with the water that the fire department dumped on the fire. These will keep the papers and cash reasonably dry. And, yes, I tested them for this purpose.

Great for pork ribs (i.e. narrow and long)
This is just a sleeve - not a bag - and it is narrow.I use mine for racks of spare ribs, and it is better than most oven bags for this because you can cut it to the length of your ribs and not have all that extra width. However, tying 2 ends with their little ties is awkard and the ties aren't of the best quality. I'm about to buy my second roll.

Great for ribs
I use these to cook ribs in he oven before transferring to the grill. They work perfectly.Just for information...I bought these hoping I could vacuum seal, but since they are oven bags, the heat seal would not work. I just used the included ties and it worked. I will buy more.

Too small for anything
Okay so idk what you're going to use this for but if it's something long and skinny like a pork loin, then it could work. But a turkey or even a chicken? No way! They're not wide enough for anything like that. Plus the film is so thin that it Rips easily. It didn't come with anything for us to use as ties either sobyoid have to buy a pack of oven use strings or Ties. This was a very disappointing buy, cause I didn't check the width prior to Thanksgiving.

Not Big Enough For Turkey!!!
Not Big Enough for Turkey!!! I bought this specifically to brine a turkey. Two issues: nowhere near big enough (even for a 12 lb turkey) and this isn't bags, it's one long tube that you have to cut to size and then use a twisty tie to seal. Absolutely no way you can brine with it (it would leak!) and forget trying to shove anything larger than a turkey breast in it. Now i'm stuck with it...buyer beware!

Ties are inferior
Sounds like a good idea: cut off and use only as much of the sleeve as you need and tie off both ends to make a bag. But having to tie both ends rather than one end as with a bag is a hassle and the ties are of an inferior quality and break easily; I had to use up four to get two good ones in tying both ends of a sleeve.

Amazing Product!
The Easy Cooking Roasting Sleeve is very convenient since the sleeve can be cut to any size. The sleeve makes steaming vegetables very easy and soap chips can be softened in the microwave and molded into a new bar of soap, saving money and avoiding waste. Very useful!

Worth a try if you are game. I like this.
Bought these because I found out the hard way how my new "easy to clean" toaster over was not really easy to clean. Anyways, I use these for my Cornish hens and other items I cook that spatter oil or fats. They are wonderful and cook just like cooking a turkey in a large roasting bag which I have done several times for the family. It's now just me cooking for just me. Small sized bags are extremely hard to find it too costly. This bag does the job.Notes: there is a learning curve in cutting the bag to the correct size. I tend to take the item in cooking , set it on a length of the plastic to size it out. Allowing for extra room to close the bag. Then cutting to that size.A trick my mother taught me with bags is to add in a little flour or starch to help the bag not to stick to itself. Which this type tends to do. Think of it like flouring a pan. It works great. If you are careful you can reused the plastic oven safe ties. If you run out of them use cooking twine. It might take some dexterity if you are alone, but it can be done.I will support the knowledge that it's hard to say how many dinners you can make with this roll. It all depends on how big of a piece that is used each time. A Cornish hen uses about a 1ft to about a 1 ft 1/2.could take more of I add in root veggies. This one will is priced well enough to give it a try. Next time I purchase it I will look for two roll together.Good luck and happy cooking if you give this a try.
