Smith Micro Manga Studio Ex 4.0 Software

So far I've only just started experimenting with this program, but it seems to be perfect for what i want to do. I am working on a graphic novel in Manga style with speed lines and tones. I originaly was going to use Photoshop and other programs to achieve my goals. But this has it all (and does them easier!). Like i said i only really wanted to add speed lines and tones but also caption and word balloons. The cheaper program (Manga Studio Debut) does these things, but EX seems to be easier and accepts more options for scanned formats like TGA, which I'm told is preferred (it also gives you way more patterns of everything). It also prepares you for submitting you finished work to the Printers and/or online publishing. Now I'm no graphics expert. I have VERY limited experience with other programs. The user manual for this program, which is a PDF file that you can print, is over 400 pages long!! So if your like me, I recommend getting "Manga Studio for Dummies" as a companion piece! It really has helped me so far. Even though it is apparent that it was written for the previous version of this program, it's still understandable. So, yeah, I gotta recommend this product.

Love this program. It allows you to sketch and use vectoring to finalize your drawing. I highly recommend it for comic book artist.

I was a bit skeptical when I saw the full version of Manga Studio EX 4 going for $99.00. I took a chance and it's the full retail version, not academic version, for Win/Mac. I had no problems with the serial number when I registered at smith micro's website.
