I did think there were some etching errors at first. Not sure if they are meant to be clouds or something. When I checked with the Amazon picture, the etching was exactly the same, so not an error.

I like it. I made a gift.

I'm very pleased with this little galaxy. My niece and I share a love of outer space, and this will be a perfect gift for her. The crystal is smooth, with no obvious seams that I've detected. The little footed stand is made of coated metal, and isn't the best quality, so I don't anticipate that the stand would last as long as the crystal itself will. (Though I'm sure that, as a decorative object that isn't being handled often, the base will still last for quite some time.) I decided not to purchase a lighted base, but you can see in my review photos that the etched crystal catches light well. Not a large, grand gesture by any means; just a perfect, thoughtful gift.

This was a Confirmation gift for a friend, who was delighted with it. It arrived quickly, securely packed, snug in a polystyrene mould. Beautiful little angel figure inside. I’m very pleased with it.
