I camp often and have since I was a kid. One of the more troublesome things with camping outdoors is staying clean and pleasant smelling. If you are in a situation where showers are scarce, crowded or disgusting this is a great alternative. You can't wash your hair with it but you can certainly work on the more odorous or dirty parts! They aren't great for hard scrubbing as they will fall apart but they aren't really meant to (that is what makes them bio-degradable). If you have ever used a baby wipe then you know what this is...its an adult sized baby wipe to clean dirt/residue and help reduce body odor without baby scents. You can use it in your tent when you wake up or before going to bed. You can use them in or out of the bag if you like as they are not dripping wet but are definitely damp.For light clean up one is sufficient, if you are dirty/sooty then it will take more. One package is easily a years supply for me! They take up little room in the backpack but if I want to lighten the load or reduce you can easily put a few in a zipper bag to save for when you want to use them.The only con I can think of is that the opening is a bit small to pull them out but I believe necessarily so to keep moisture sealed in. I have had this package for months and they are still damp and ready to go with the reseal tape over the small opening.

I really like these wipes. Like all biodegradable products there's a tradeoff between durability and environmental friendliness. I have good success doing "pits and privates" wipes with these, but they tend to shred when I use them on my feet. I'm a little on the fence about whether I'll keep using them long term. Wipes are SUPER small, in general. It's not that hard to carry a zip-loc and "bag out" non-biodegradable wipes as regular trash, or let dry out and incinerate. Long term I suspect I'll probably go with a less expensive, more durable product. But if you want a cost-effective LARGE wipe these are a pretty good product.

It almost no longer feels light "roughing it" having these luxurious wipes. Pooping really is a joy with these babies. First of all, I thoroughly enjoy pooping out in nature. The squatting really helps move things along, and the serene environment is usually very relaxing. To be able to conclude that with these excellent wipes makes that experience so much more enjoyable. Also make for good body wipes. I haven't personally witnessed one of them biodegrade, so I guess I just gotta take their word on that.

I took these camping and they did more than the trick! I intended to use them as multipurpose for that special 'go' in the morning as well as to clean up after a day's hiking and camping before bed. My skin felt soft and product free. There was no leftover residue and I even used them on my face which made my skin feel dreamy. I'm somewhat sensitive to products and I really liked these wipes. They are fair on 'strength' but large enough in area that 'folding' over to use all sides worked great. I'll be purchasing these again!

Product was lifesaver on recent church camp when showers broke. I originally bought to carry on scouting trips. Since I had it out from recent scouting trip I figure why not pack along for this trip. Wipes did the job. Had to use a few at a time because the small size. They're wipes. Whole family was happy especially when doing activities all day in 90 degree temps covered in sun screen and mosquito repellent.

As we all know, the outdoors are calling and we must go. Number 2... or more.. but luckily we don't have to rely on leaves. I am super glad I brought these wipes on my last climbing trip. It was a hot sweaty and grimy climbing trip where at the end of each day we would crawl back into our small tents and knock out. While sleeping with smelly people is hardly an issue when you are bone tired, it is nice to have some of life's simple pleasures of being able to go to sleep refreshed [even without a shower].Of course it is important to look for certain things such as Aloe, vitamins, and ecological footprint reduction. I am glad these wipes are biodegradeable and VERY glad it had aloe.

I purchased these wipes to use on the trail after a day of hiking. Though they are large, they're quite thin. I guess it makes sense because they're bio-degradable, but, if you're looking for a wipe that has more texture to it these are not for you. Nevertheless, they do the job and 1 wipe does go a long way. They're a good alternative to "washing up" after a day of hiking. Especially if you don't have a water source near by.

I love the idea of these wipes because in the "pack in - pack out" mentality of the hiking world, sometimes, things can get left behind especially if you happen to be squatting and something scares you or sit on poison oak. And if you happen to get chased by some crazy animal, or you are busy whining and scratching your itchy spot, then at least you have been told they are biodegradable after 28 days.Yes I know people - you can not always trust what the package says, after all your cheese puffs are all cheese right?Anyway, I would be more inclined not to stress if this item somehow miraculously did not make it into my pack out bag. I won't feel bad if this gets left behind. enough said.
