I Will See You in Heaven (Dog Lover's Edition): ― a book of comfort and reassurance for pet loss

When I lost my best friend, soul mate, and service dog last August I was inconsolable. I have raises/trained horses and dogs for man many years and I have grieved for each and every one I lost. However, this dog was my "soul" dog (those of you who have experienced this will relate and understand). For months, I did nothing. I just existed but no longer wanted to live. I found this book on Amazon (as well as 2 others). Of the 3, this one was the best investment. As a Christian, I have always known that our dogs/pets go to heaven, so this was not something to help cement that belief. However, it was nice to have someone actually show where the bible does refer to animals in heaven and show proof to others who insist this is not so. People who don't believe this are entitled to their opinion, but I find that they need to be respectful of those who do and stop trying to hurt others by citing the bible as proof that dogs don't go to heaven when there is ample evidence in the bible that they do. Even if you don't believe it, stop being hurtful to others.. Remember, Christ was sent to save OUR souls - no other souls needed saving. If you, like me have experienced a devastating loss (this was the worst thing I have ever been through), you will find solace in this book. I highly recommend it.

I have given this book so many times to people who have lost a pet- I love the Bible references, which I had not contemplated in light of ALL of us, animals and people alike, are part of God’s plan of redemption , I bought his book about cats, too. Great book. I will keep buying it for friends and keep a copy to reread.

I am a Christian and lots of people told me dogs don't have soul. After my boy crossed the rainbow bridge last July I have been heart broken. I want the reassurance that we will meet again. The author is very knowledgeable. All the verses he used in this book really strengthen my belief that dogs do have soul and God does want us to be together after we die. I highly recommend this book especially if you are Christian. It really is very comforting.

I loved this book. My dog went to Heaven almost a year ago. I have so much hope I will be with her again in the future. It has helped with the grieving process and has given me lots of hope and comfort.

i ordered the 2018 revised version of the 2010 original print..in paperback. what i got was a hardcover (not complaining here) of the 2010 book..the 1 i ordered had the senior dog on the front . the 2010 one and the 1 i got has a puppy on the front. with the same parts of the 1st one but the one i ordered had readers comments and pics of their pets that were sent in..i was going to return this one and try to order again the 1 i tried to order in the 1st place.. but i looked through this one and it is ok, no marking except the part where it says who from and to who..it's nicely done so i'm ok with that..wanted to see readers comments and pics of loved pets but that was the main reason i ordered this book.. so anyway kept it..looks like it will be an interesting read..

Meaningful gift

I bought this little book as a goof, but as a pet owner I was impressed. If you are struggling with the lose of a pet, this book may help.

I purchased this book in an attempt to find some comfort after losing my beloved dog, Brady, and this certainly provided the comfort that I needed. I especially loved the little prayers that you can say, and although we won't know for sure until we passes away, this little book gives us a lot of hope that we will see them again. It is easy to read with big letters, and has the durability of a hardcover. A very sweet book. Arrived on time.

The tears flowed as this book was read. The most important thing is that God has not forgotten his holy animals in heaven. There is a place for them!
