I have struggled my whole life with extremely dry skin and large angry red eczema patches all over my face. I had never found a cream that would full heal my dry patches, that is until now. I have been using the Hydra Genius for Dry Skin regularly for 2 months now and I am happy to say I have never seen my face so healthy. I now have the confidence to go makeup free because my skin is glowing! I apply a thin layer every morning, it makes a great base for foundation on days I decide to wear it because it leaves just a little tackiness for the foundation to grab onto, after I take off my makeup at the end of the day I apply a very generous layer and massage it in. I wake up the next morning with dewy (not oily) skin that looks plump and hydrated. Even with applying every day my jar lasted me 2 months, which is a great bang for your buck. The biggest problem I have with this product is the sent, it is very floral and irritated my eyes and nose. I would also prefer different packaging since I feel like I am contaminating the product when I dip my hand back in to get more. I don't understand why the other two moisturizers in this line have a pump package and this comes in a jar. I have weirdly incredibly sensitive skin, and when i decided to start being nice to my skin and washing it and using moisturizer etc this winter, almost every moisturizer or mask i used made my face super red and sting, which was really frustrating. even products that were specifically marketed as “soothing” made my face burn, and i actually had two red patches of skin on my face that i think had literal chemical burns. then, on a whim i grabbed this moisturizer from rite aid because i also had eczema patches on my chin and neck. (CUE HEAVENLY MUSIC) it worked wonders. the cream didn’t sting at all when i applies it, and my skin felt so hydrated and alive, with the added bonus that so many people began telling me how dewy and glowy my skin had become. in combination with the pixi glow tonic, thayers witch hazel, and zum face toners, my skin has cleared up so much and i’m so happy with it! going into the summer, i’m so glad to have bright, glowing and relatively clear skin. all thanks to this incredible moisturizer that is delightfully scented, lightweight without sacrificing hydration, and really affordable! DEFINITELY give it a try if you have sensitive, dry, or just boring skin.

I have severely dry and sensitive skin (prone to eczema and rashes, not breakouts), and am always looking for the perfect moisturizing products. I saw this product at my local Walgreens and was super curious, but still bought it here because it was more expensive there for some reason. I am really hard to please when it comes to skincare, and I have just purchased my second jar of this baby after two months. I use this as a night cream because I'm pretty sure it doesn't have SPF in it, and it's honestly perfect. Creamy, smooth, and doesn't feel like it's just swallowed up by my desert that is my skin. Doesn't leave me feeling greasy and doesn't do that thing where it makes my hair stick to it like some ointments and balms do when I'm not being too careful. It's honestly perfect for dry skin. I'm so excited about this. And the price tag? Crazy. When you look up night creams for dry skin on Google you find so many recommendations for high end, $60+ stuff that usually doesn't end up feeling like it justifies its price. This is perfect, and the fact that it's affordable is just the cherry on top! Love.

This is an excellent product for people like me that have dry skin

This moisturizer is really good. I originally found it a couple times at TJmaxx and loved the way it moisturized my skin. It's rich but not overly greasy. This cream was awesome for my face during the winter as it's very extra dry skin and my face gets really dry in the winter. When I found it here on Amazon I was so excited because I could continue to purchase my moisturizer! Unfortunately the one I received from Amazon was half empty and the texture of the cream seems almost thickened into a paste. Needless to say I was very disappointed. I won't be repurchasing.

I can't believe I re-ordered this. I am so fickle when it comes to skincare products. I have very dry skin and need effective moisturizers. Sometimes, I don't need my moisturizer to contain sunscreens or other chemicals, and this is the one I tend to reach for when that is the case. It is not fragrance-free, which would make it not right for some, but I love the sensory experience of a soft fragrance. This one reminds me of the old Camay soap I grew up with. I am 68 years old, and nothing will help me look 20 years younger, which we seasoned women sometimes want badly enough tthat we can be sucked to paying high prices by air-brushed photos and ridiculous claims. I do not believe there is magic in a bottle, but I not disappointed in this product.

What happened, Loreal??? I loved this moisturizer for my hard to moisturize skin!! It worked so well. But then you raised the price from about $10 to about $18. Hmmmm. There is no way that the production costs for this product suddenly nearly doubled. No way. That is ludicrous. You just figured you could get more money for it, so you nearly doubled the price. If I'm going to spend almost $20 a month on moisturizer, I'd buy a better product for like $23.
