These are great for things like key fobs, or maybe leashes for small animals. Unfortunately, I wanted them for a larger dog, and the lobster claw clasp broke and was not heavy duty enough for my needs. Item is well made and I would recommend

I'm so glad this happened to me before I made keychains for ...
The weight of these clasps is not sufficient for keys but might work for badges or nametags. I made a keychain and put my 5 work keys on it this morning around 9am. The clasp broke at 4:30pm. I'm so glad this happened to me before I made keychains for anyone else!

INCORRECT measurements listed on product
Inaccurate measurements, the inside diameter of the ring is MUCH larger than 1", closer to 1.5" inside.
