Perfect Replacement
I have a large box of AC adapters from various recycled devices over the years. I needed a 5V adapter and while I had several, none had a connector that matched my device. I have a 10 year old photo frame (a fairly nice one) and it stopped working a few days ago. I was about to replace the frame, but did a quick multimeter test and found that the 5V adapter was only providing 4.5V. I took a chance on this very versatile solution. I didn't even need an adapter, it immediately connected, I set it to 5V, and the presumed dead photo frame came right back up. I'm going to get another one of these, very handy when you can't immediately locate the AC adapter you placed on a shelf 6 months ago. This is the second "old" AC adapter I've had go bad in the past year, this definitely makes for an excellent solution. If you have a "dead device", run a check on the adapter, that may be the root cause of your issue. On the product. It feels well made. When you select the desired voltage, you can feel it "lock in". I was concerned it wouldn't do that, that was not the case. Very happy with this product, better than trying to find a 5V adapter with a specific connector (especially if it turned out that wasn't the issue). Even if the frame fails at a later date, this is something I will be able to continue to use.

Works, but the plug fit could be better
This power supply does the job and provides consistent power once it’s connected, but the main downside is the adapter fit. The plug tends to loosen and can fall out more easily than expected, especially if the cable gets bumped or moved. When it stays seated, it works fine and hasn’t had any power drop issues. The voltage output seems stable and it’s usable for basic applications, but the connection doesn’t feel as secure as it should. For stationary setups it’s acceptable, but for anything that gets moved around, it can be a little frustrating. Overall, it’s usable, but the adapter fit keeps it from being a perfect solution.

This is a must have product if you have lots of electronics.
I purchased this universal 30w charger adapter because I was always looking for one cord or another to use in a laptop or a toy for my son etc. Needless to say I have a box of jumbled wires (which has now gown to two boxes) I thought that if I had 1 device that could take the place of all of those wires and I could keep it somewhere where I could easily find it, I would be way better off in the long run. So far I have already used it to charge up a netbook that I had lost the charger for years ago. I was able to charge it up and found a ton of pictures on it that I hadn't even remembered I had taken. That right there has made this purchase worthwhile. It is a very sturdy construction and comes with seven different tips that should cover any type of input that I have. Hopefully anyways. It also comes with a small key that allows you to change the power settings on the main box. This is the only part that I am afraid of losing, I wish it had a place on the plug where you could store it for safe keeping. For now, I will just keep everything stored in it's box until I need it again. I see this getting plenty of use in the future. I would recommend this to hobbyists or anyone, like me, that has a hosuefull of assorted electronics from years gone by with little clue as to where the power cord is. If anyone has found this review helpful in any way, please feel free to hit the button. Thank You.

Fantastic Power Adapter
Fantastic Charger! I have used this for numerous things while waiting for an oem replacement to fix things around the house. It has every adapter I could ever need and lets you set voltage for any item you need it for. Just a great design and great product.

Bought It on a Recommendation... Now I Have a Plug and a Useless Generator.
This one didn’t do what it was supposed to do. I got it because Amazon recommended it through their AI suggestion system when I was looking for a replacement cord for my Ninja power station. I lost the original cord, and after searching online for a match and coming up empty, I figured I’d take a chance on this universal adapter since it said it was compatible. Spoiler alert: it’s not. Even though I specifically checked to see if this would work with my model and it said yes, I brought it home, plugged it in, and… nothing. It doesn’t fit the generator at all. Now I’m stuck with a power station I still can’t use, and a plug that’s taking up space. What makes this even more frustrating is that the product page makes it sound like it’s compatible with pretty much everything. I really wish there was a much clearer disclaimer about the actual models it supports. The generic “works with most devices” language is not helpful when it leaves you in limbo. To top it all off, I didn’t send it back in time because I tend to put stuff away and forget. So now I’ve got a cord I can’t use and a review I’ve been meaning to write just to say: this shouldn’t have happened. The clarity on compatibility has got to be better.

Great for some applications
The Soulbay power supply appeared very well constructed on the outside but would not work for my purpose. I loved the assortment of plug types and the construction of the cord. I wanted the unit to power a caller ID box which used four AA batteries. I soldered two wires to the battery connection on the circuit board and tried to connect them to the power supply using the flat plug with the two screw terminals. The first wire connected fine but one the second terminal was bent and would not allow the wire to be inserted. After a considerable amount of time I was able to get the second wire to insert in the terminal. After removing the the four batteries I set the unit to 6 volts and plugged it in. The unit powered up and I was able to program it. The phone worked fine but there was a hum on the line and the ID unit showed "Line error" instead of the number. I feel this was due to the power supply not being filtered enough to supply pure DC. This unit will probably work well for other applications that do not require such a pure DC source. I also like the small LED showing that the power supply is active.
