I ordered this the day before and it arrived the next day. Applied it to my daughter's new bow and it worked great. The violin is her great grandmother's and she wanted to keep the tradition alive, but the rosin it came with was no longer usable. The local music stores wanted an absurd amount of money so I went to find one on Amazon that had a high rating. It arrived well packaged and uncracked. I would highly recommend this if you're just starting out and needing a budget rosin.

I got rosin with my violin and it was hard and trash. Had to scrape it just to get the rosin to activate. This Rosin worked without any extra fiddling with (pum intended). Highly recommend

Good dark rosin, perfect for cello and viola (don't use it for violins, they need a lighter rosin unless you're fiddling). If anything, it needed a little scratching before use.

I didn’t have to break or crack the rosin for the bow! Value for money.

Threw it across the room a couple times to check and the rosin survived untarnished. Also the bottom of the guard being magnetic is a very nice touch.

I've been playing violin for many years, and I've always just had rosin in a little wood box that it came in. I recently broke my rosin. I live in a small town with nowhere to buy any violin accessories, so I did a search for rosin online, and found this wonderful grip! Oh I love it!! It keeps the rosin from getting on my fingers or hands, and the rubber grip is comfortable in my hand. It's an excellent find! I will use this seller again to find more convenient, handy violin things! Thank you!

I like the dark, and I found that to even it on my bow I use a toothbrush across the bow. To help even it out.
