Bossaber Color Changing RGB Lightsaber – Extremely Durable Color Changing Lightsaber, Aluminum Hilt, 7 Colors in one, Star Wars, Stunt Saber

Our sons bought two of these lightsabers (with their own saved-up money) in April of 2017. The build quality is excellent, the finish on the hilts themselves is outstanding, and most importantly; these have stood up very well to the inevitable duels that have occurred since then. These lightsabers were marketed as being built for heavy duty action and they have lived up to that billing.So here is where Bossaber exceeded my expectations, roughly 17 months after we bought the lightsabers. In the last few weeks, it appeared that one of the sabers was having issues with the color green, and therefore the blended colors it is used to create as well. We replaced the batteries a few times, but it was clear there was something else going on. I sent a note to Bossaber explaining the situation. They responded within about 2 hours of my note, which is possibly the fastest customer service response I have ever had with email. They asked if it was possible to send them a quick video to show the issue to them, which we did. Their response was instant; send the hilt (not the blade) back to them and they would repair it. The total turnaround time was about a week or two. The only thing I paid for was the shipping to them, which was about $6.From my perspective, this sort of service is all too rare these days. These lightsabers are designed for fighting, which implies that it's very possible the reason the lights started acting up was because of wear and tear of two boys (and their friends) having duels in the back yard. I don't know of many companies that replace wear and tear items on their dime. I received a note from Bossaber telling me that they had replaced the green LED, plus the switches (there are three) just as a precaution. It came back a few weeks ago and has seen plenty of action since then, with the green being used heavily.If you're a parent reading this review, I hope you find what I am about to say helpful. From a larger perspective, as a dad, I was originally challenging my sons as to why they wanted to spend this much money on something like this. Bluntly, I wasn't on board with this expenditure at all. But they had earned the money themselves and I thought for various reasons it would be a good learning experience for them. Turns out, I learned as much as they did. We bought these brand new and today these lightsabers don't look like they have seen close to a year and a half of duels and battles. They have held their finishes remarkably well. The hilts still look great, though the blades do show marks over time from all of the whacking back and forth. That's to be expected, and frankly, I expected that they would have needed replacements by now. But that's not the case at all. And when something stopped working, Bossaber stepped in and fixed it without question, or charge, which I never expected. I expected to have the conversation with my sons about "This is what happens when you spend a lot of money, etc., etc."I don't write a lot of reviews, but this situation was so above and beyond in terms of quality service, I wanted to recognize Bossaber for building a very quality product and for standing behind that product long after we bought it.

I bought this for my husband for his birthday and he loves it! Battery life is excellent so far and it’s holding up just fine as far as durability goes. I highly recommend this if you’re in the market for a light saber.

Well , it worked the first day I got it , of course that was like three weeks ago . But now four out of the seven colors don’t even work I’m baffled and sorry but starting to regret my order here . ( and that’s a shame too because I only got this for the rare colors )

I liked the amount of options you get color wise. But no sound, the inside material is creasing and you can see it when you hit something. No sound but still 7 or so options for color so ya know you get color or sound.

This was exactly what I expected... I had a problem with batteries and the seller responded fast and accurately! If I can come up with the money, I'll buy the last one!Great colorsSturdy construction

Got product for my son, stopped working within 15min. Spend 15more dollars for product more durable than 3 swings before colors stop working

Almost equal to the quality of some ultrasabers but the RGB function makes it definitely worth the money.

All in all a good saber could use a bigger battery cell
