I really love this essential oil! Plant Therapy is a wonderful company with high quality products. I use this in homemade bug spray and it works great

REALLY strong scent! Used it in candles (about 10 drops per melted cup of wax) and a spray to keep the dog off the counters. So far the candles have kept the bugs away. For the dog, I diluted about 5 drops in a couple tbsp of water and ran it with a cotton ball around the outside of the counters. It made the house stink for a couple days, but then faded away and the dog hasn't jumped up since. It dispenses easily in drops from the bottle. The only thing is, the scent is so strong I can't imagine any level of dilution would be wearable as a personal bug spray. Maybe if mixed with other EO's and diluted well it would work, but I wouldn't use just this as a personal solution. (Also, I can't remember the last time I smelled a commercial bug spray so not sure if it's comparable).

I got this to add to our homemade insect repellent. It works well, along with other Plant Therapy Essential Oils I found listed on the internet for making a natural repellent. I pretty much threw everything in the pot I found listed, but all the oil are Plant Therapy's. I am not getting bit as much as before, in fact much less by the fact that I am no longer itching, itching, itching day and night. Although I have not had it tested by Essential Oil University, vibrationally Plant Therapy's oil feel pure to me and the scents of their oil are smooth and gentle. Highly recommend.

Citronella Essential Oil. 30 ml (1 oz). 100% Pure, Undiluted, and mixed with Witch Hazel and placed blended mixture into a small spray bottle. The overall order is an acquired scent but tolerable, could mix a small amount of lemon oil to mask it. It does seem to work for me. I sprayed my leg and mosquitoes did not attack me like before. Some still tried, but not the hordes like before.

Though I am not fond of Citronella, this is excellent for making your own candles and body oils to ward off bugs/mosquitoes. It really gets the job done and Plant Therapy is all natural and the price is right! I highly recommend all of the oils form Plant Therapy.
