1000 Illustrations for Children is a fabulous book filled with creative imagery and illustrations. Every page contains large colorful images and art created by a different artist. The pages are glossy. The rich colorful details contained in much of the art is an educational experience and good for enjoyment purposes. I purchased three of this book, because I gave one as a gift to another.

to get inspired if you want to illustrate for children. This book features some of the best illustrators around the world. There are enough illustrations to get you going and finding out more about an illustrator.

Wonderful illustrations--I linger over each one. They inspire both my desire to draw myself plus it inspires my own inner child. Love this book!

This is another in the Quarry 1000 series of which I have virtually every volume. I love them as they are a great source of inspiration. There are so many styles featured that I often go to this book and others in the series when I want to try something new.

It's even more beautiful than I expected. Every page is full of gorgeous illustrations and all of the artists are so different and talented. If you're interested in illustration, this book is definitely a must.

This is a very good collection of the work of many children's books illustrators and nothing more. It is a great source of inspiration, but for those who need a little bit more instruction as to how to create illustrations a more explanatory purchase might do the trick.
