Heart Nuvo's 15+1 Artist Paintbrush Set with Case - Assorted Nylon Brushes and Water Brush for Watercolor Painting, Acrylic Painting, and Oil Painting

I previously purchased the Heart Nuvo Kalesa Pens and had such a good experience with them that the next time when I needed artist brushes and realized that they now carried it, the decision was a no brainer. When my sister mentioned how good the packaging was when she saw it, I realized that she is right and the brushes make a good gift for exactly that reason. I am looking forward to purchasing one as a gift for my goddaughter as she is considering taking up drawing.I have also noticed that the brushes work quite well with the Heart Nuvo Kalesa pens. Considering that I haven't used the water brush extensively yet, I can't comment on that since I don't have experience with other water brushes. It seems fine. The only minor issue I observed is that the screw is the opposite way that I am used to but it's not a big deal. The separate artist brush work well with the Kalesas. It looks like it could work pretty well with thicker paint mediums, but I have not tried that yet.

I am currently using these with acrylics to paint sculptures. Even the small brushes have a good spring back and hold paint well. I own all sorts of brushes ranging from oils to water color. From very cheap, to pretty pricey, and I have to say this set was surprisingly good. I would say it's very versatile and they are comfortable to work with.

I love these brushes. There is an excellent variety of sizes and the case allows for extra brushes.
