Fixed it with duct tape.
My husband bought this same snow brush for me several years ago for my van and it has been awesome. My daughter just got her first car and I bought her a cheaper one from the store but it did not work as well. So, I found this one on Amazon. It was priced much higher than the other ones at stores like Lowe's and Home Depot but since I liked mine so much I decided to go ahead and pay the price difference. Sadly, when it arrived I was a little disappointed. The foam part on the handle was not in the best condition and had some cracks. Mine, even after several cold winters, did not have these cracks in the foam at all. I felt like I was paying dollar for not so top quality. Anyway, I put duct tape on it so the foam does not fall off and gave it to my daughter with my apologies. It will still do the job but disappointed that it was not in the best condition considering it was supposed to be "new" and I paid quite a bit of money for it. In my book, "new" does not need duct tape.
