Beware of heat
This pad does shed a little but this is manageable. Unfortunately the thermal glue used to attach the hook & loop material to the pad will soften and fail with the warmth generated from heavy buffing. I would recommend these pads only for light buffing. If heat begins to soften the glue, the pad can be set aside to cool. If the pad is removed while still warm, the pad will delaminate. Unfortunately the melted glue can diffuse into the support pad and ruin it.

Didn't do so well for me..
Bought this when another brand I had used successfully wasn't available. Shedding at the beginning was unbelievable. But then after it ran less than half an hour into the job, using my HF Bauer buffer and doing some buffing on gelcoat, I started smelling burning and realized the pad was separating from its glued on microloop attachment. The entire base of it proceeded to melt. I purchased a two pack and in the side by side photo you can see the new one vs the one that fell apart. Not sure if the one was defective but I returned both. That's expensive for just 30 minutes of use time.

Good Value with Rotozip Tool
I put these in my Rotozip no problem. Lowest setting is a good place to start with the five different clay bars used for taking down in my case Brass. This brass is 75 years old and I've shown without any polish just off the buffer wheel. The handle was a recent factory brass purchase that had way too much grain and edges were either plasma cut or some type of stamp. Not smooth at ALL. Some sand paper 220 all the way down to 600 then used these wheels with the most sever cutting (black) to most smooth (white). Looks very good to me having polished quite a few items in my time.

Glad there was two
Both wool bonnets were pretty solid and worked well. They lost fibers in the beginning which is to be expected since they were wool. The underside however where they attach to your machine was not very good. One of the two pads, the velcro pulled away from the bonnet and during use the glue was breaking apart and flying out onto the truck I was working on. I had to throw that one away. The other pad did not have the same problem and worked great.

Excellent and a bargain
The Medoon 5 piece kit is almost identical to the competing Matco 4 piece kit (which i also purchased) as each kit includes virtually identical "polishers-buffers" except that the Medoon kit includes a fifth, conical piece which is twice the size of the equivalent conical pieces in each kit.
