Bio Clean: Eco Friendly Hard Water Stain Remover (40oz Large). Pack of 2

It works, but it requires some SERIOUS effort.My project was the shower door, with years of buildup. Lots of buildup.I tried first using a magic eraser-type pad by hand and was able to work a small area. It removed some (but very little) of the hard water staining, but nothing that looked clear or anything like new. So I relented and bought a DeWalt DWP849X rotary polisher plus some assorted 7 inch pads of various foam densities. I chose the medium of the 5 densities and used that with this cleaner/compound.That combination worked. It still takes time and lots of effort. Depending on your door, you'll need someone to help support the door while you work. You're not applying heavy pressure to the door - more like just solid contact consistently. The polisher slings the compound everywhere even at low speeds, so be sure to have things covered that are nearby. You need to go slow and methodically, and cover every square inch, but it came out clear. You also need to understand the basics of polishing - that helps you understand how everything is working or what adjustments you need to make to material or technique.It amazed me that it got off the hard water staining especially at the bottom of the door where the buildup is the greatest. But it did.

It's really amazing. Use it to easily clean the stubborn scale of bathroom glass doors and floor tiles. I have tried many products and this is the fastest and most effective.

Very good product, and it’s work as advertised. I tried many different products, only this give me the results as they are advertising.

I used this on a window, a shower faucet handle and a ceramic stove top. I would say I got the best results on the ceramic stove top. That came out pretty clean. It did not work well on a window covered in hard water. The picture is after one rigorous scrubbing with the product and a scrubby sponge. I did three rounds of scrubbing on the shower faucet handle, it was improved, but still had visible hard water stains. Unless I am doing something wrong, I would say you will get the same results with Soft Scrub. This product was not the silver bullet I was hoping for.UPDATE July 2024 I am updating my review. I used this product with an electric cordless scrubber, and it worked on those stubborn hard water stains on my windows. It only works with an electric tool with that green scrubbing pad. I have tried everything scrubbing by hand, and this combination finally worked. I added new pictures of the same window showing when one side was finished.

OMG! Seriously. The reviews are correct. This is the only product that works. I apply with a sponge and then rinse off with water and a washcloth! Gone is the hard water stains on my glass enclosure. I've tried everything and this is the only product that works. I now have a years supply. THANK YOU!

The media could not be loaded. I will send a video review and some pics. The product got rid of the hard water build up, on my shower doors, and the rust stains on the shower basin. I used a small bit in the toilet, but not much. Excellent product!

I like this stuff because it does actually help with the hard water stains on my glass shower doors. However, it does not help much for hard water stain buildup. It's basically best at preventing it, not clearing it up.Being "eco-friendly" you would think it was safe. The only warning on the bottle is not to get it in your eye. However, it absolutely destroys my hands. This is 3 days later and it's still peeling off. Makes me wonder how "eco-friendly" and "nontoxic" it actually is.

My experience with Bio Clean began in the summer of 2002. As a real estate agent in California I had the good fortune to list two residential subdivisions for sale, totaling 173 homes. These homes were all about 12 years old and had been purchased, while still under construction, by a very wealthy off-shore investor, who proceeded to rent all of them, as each was completed. Sadly, little or no maintenance was done on the homes and all required extensive rehabilitation before selling. Deep cleaning was the first requirement - and Bio Clean saved the seller literally thousands of dollars! Window glass on every house, wherever exposed to sprinkler over-spray, seemed hopelessly stained and fogged over, apparently requiring replacement. One of the rehab contractors came to the rescue and demonstrated how a little Bio Clean on a damp cloth would clean off the extreme staining, leaving the glass clear and sparkling! The technique was simple and never varied and I estimate that at least 350 windows were saved from what seemed to be terminal staining and discoloration. The work was done by a couple of inexperienced young people, using only this product, soft rags and water.This amazing experience became widely known in my real estate office and the product delighted scores of home sellers when given BIo Clean, or referred to it for cleaning fogged, dirty windows, bathroom fixtures, shower doors, kitchen faucets, sinks etc.Upon my moving to the midwest 10 years ago - where basements are common - and the windows often deeply stained, the product quickly made me a popular neighbor. I shared (and demonstrated) this product, restoring basement windows which they had long thought needed replacement, “some day”. Over many years, I’ve tried about every product offered in retail stores for the purpose of removing tough calcium and other stains - without real success. I've found that Bio Clean works perfectly in every household and automotive task appropriate for its use.
