my family and I have always used Chilton due to the detailed diagrams and simple instructions given. Other books such as Haynes is ok at best. I hate that I can't Chilton's in every parts store like I could in the 70's through the 00's. But it was exactly what my buddy needed to work on his truck. Sometimes YouTube can only help so much.

Got a new truck (not really a new truck but...). Picked up this lil gem to save on repair costs.

Local stores wanted twice the price. Purchased a 1987 Chevrolet R10 Scottsdale and intend to slowly restore it bit by bit, as well as make some upgrades. Have the Factory Repair manuals and like Chiltons/Haynes manuals. The more information the better.
