Cuisinart CTG-00-GS Garlic Slicer and Grater, Green

Most of the dishes I make use sliced garlic. This is the best slicer I have found. Fast and easy! The grater was great as well.

So far so good. Only used twice, and the operation isn't 100% smooth but the garlic does not get stuck and produces nice thin slices. My only complaint would be that the grater, which is beyond the slicer, gets garlic in it unless you can control your movements and not go that far. Would be nice if the two operations were separate on the slicer or there was a little wall or bump between the two so you can't go into the grater area when you just want to slice. Hopefully this will be durable and provide years of use. I'll come back and review if it doesn't.

Does what is promises to do and very well at that. Dont expect it to perform like a professional or even a larger mandolin or grater but for a quick grate od slice for two it does the job well and is easy to clean up. Teh thing is easy to hold and operate as well. The plunger is a seperate bit of plastic that ie easy to misplace, just mind that bit and it should be with you for quite some time.

This is not only one of my favorite gadgets it’s one of my most useful. I can slice garlic paper thin, or grate it perfectly with this item. It does an awesome job and takes nothing to clean it. It’s also useful for ginger. I like slicing ginger into a cup of hot water with lemon juice and honey for ginger tea and this is perfect.

I haven't used it much, but the few times I have I'm debating whether it was worth it. It greats just fine, but so does my microplane and garlic crusher. I got this for the slicing function. So far the times I've tried to slice the garlic, the garlic has slid out from the guide. Not sure if it's user error or...I'll keep trying and if I figure it out I'll update the review, but for now 3 stars it is.

Easy to use and easy to clean! I love using garlic in my foods but I hate chopping it. This little gadget made a world of difference.

Feels just a little fragile, but it does a good hands-free job of grating garlic.

The grating part works perfectly, the shaving "mandolin" blade has a beveled edge and since it was manufactured with the blade backwards, the bevel just guides the garlic away from it. I even checked on another food mandolin to make sure I wasn't doing something wrong.Good product, not so good quality control.

Handy little gadget for grating or slicing garlic. I find the slider thing pops out easily but I think I just have to practice the technique a bit. Overall, I like it.

Works great. Have many garlic graters, presses etc. But this one is the best by far.

This product is so awesome!!! Slick with cutting! Gets the entire radish no waste! Thin slices great for my salads! WOW!!!!

The little guard slider comes off too easily when trying to slice garlic and it would be better if it sit more flush

Much easier to use than a garlic press, safe to use and easy to clean.Does a great job with garlic gloves.
