Gem Stone King 14K Yellow Gold Forever Classic Moissanite from Charles & Colvard Solitaire Pendant Necklace For Women (0.80 Cttw, Round 6MM, with 18 Inch 14K Yellow Gold Chain)

On 2/14, V-Day, the pendant arrived with a separate chain loop too large to fit the setting. Disappointed, I called Gemstone King directly. "Keira" (sp?) In customer service consulted with her staff jewelry expert. She promised to mail out a replacement chain with a smaller loop. And I could just keep the other gold chain. Chain arrived in three days. Well, errors happen. What excelled at Gemstone King is both quality AND customer service. WOW!!

I am very satisfied with the moissanite stone. However, I have the same problem as others where the chain won't fit through the pendant. This appears to be a chronic issue with Gem Stone King. I am surprised that Amazon does not intervene and pressure them to correct their problem on orders from their site. It devalues the jewelry and the reputation of Gem Stone King and Amazon.As a follow up, on March 6, I spoke with Keira at Gem Stone King who said she would mail me a replacement chain today. It appears that their follow up service is very good, but they have issues with the initial orders.The replacement chain arrived and worked as designed. My friend is very pleased with her diamond look moissanite pendant!

The pictures do not do it justice. Beautiful necklace in person. As the other views have previously stated though, the chain is flimsy.

Pendant is lovely, but chain included wouldn't fit through the bail. I had to call Charles &Colvard, and after some discussion, they agreed to send another chain in exchange. I hope it works. There was another comment with a similar problem

The pendant arrived off the chain and the ring wouldn't fit through the tiny bail. I asked for a price adjustment to offset the cost of having a jeweler take the ring off and resolder or to buy another chain. But GemStoneKing wants me to return it. I love the pendant and finally found a chain that will go through the bail. It's a shame GemStoneKing won't work with their customers to resolve an issue other than with a return. They keep reminding me of their poor service by emailing asking for a review, so here it is.

Excellent value. In doing research on alternatives to diamond, it became clear (no pun intended) that moissanite is by far the best diamond simulant. Moissanite is nearly as hard as diamond (versus zircon, cubic zirconium, and others), and now available in nearly colorless stones. This pendant looks fantastic. It's brilliant, but not fake-looking. The card that came with it says it's Charles & Colvard's "Forever Classic" grade. That's their most colored, least expensive grade -- but as it's in a yellow-gold mounting and it's not a super-large stone, any yellowness is undetectable to me. If I were buying a stone in a white-gold or platinum mount, I would look into C&C's two higher (whiter) grades: Forever Brilliant and Forever One. But I'm totally happy with this stone in this application.

The setting it comes with is so tiny it's hard to fit any other chain thru it and the chain it comes with is so dainty i'll break it for sure

This is a beautiful stone and a great size!! Love it love it. I would have given 5 stars, except that I also had the same problem with getting the chain through the pendant opening. It is way too small and you do have to use pliers to squeeze the chain end to get it through.
