I’m oddly surprised with the quality and quantity of products in this jam packed deal. I received this promptly with Amazon prime, love my amazon Prime! Anyways, it was well put together in a nice shrink wrapped package and I knew there were a lot of things that came in this set but as I was Unpacking it, I guess I didn’t appreciate just how much of a value this was. I wish I could give it 4.5 stars because the brushes are absolutely horrid for me BUT will be great for the kids to play around with so they don’t touch my good ones. I purchased this set for the kids to experiment with but I ended up keeping the watercolor paper. It’s good for quick swatches and card making with watercolors or your tombows.. the color wheel is great. I paid 6.00 for one just like it at the art supply store. The paint palette is your typical 1.00 item but nice to have for the kids. I just wish the brushes were better but hey, all told I’m super happy with this set and I’ll re order when I’m out of the paper. The paper alone is worth it! If there’s a young budding artist in your life that needs a “start up” kit, you’ll be a superstar if you purchase this for them. It has everything they need to get going other than the medium (paint, watercolor, markers etc etc).

I absolutely love this kit. The quality was much better than expected. There's one big sturdy sketchBook, a flexible sketchbook, and a smaller spiral book. For the price I was expecting thinner lower quality paper but it is awesome. It's nice and thick and I can use it for any medium. Right now I'm working with watercolors so I was worried about the paper quality, however, it has not failed me. There's a huge variety of brushes that's great for beginners and more experienced artists, alike. I feel like I scored a major deal with this one. Thank you!

Total junk, these brushes will waste your time, paper, paint, as they shed EVERYWHERE! YUK!Also, trash paper, I really can't see it being acid free..Designed in USA????OMG !

I bought this for my 15yo daughter's birthday. She's been into art since she was old enough to hold a crayon, and she just recently started painting. She's in a few art classes at school, so these items come in handy at home, and at school.To buy these items separately, you're going to spend at least twice as much. This is a steal at $10.The paper and the brushes are of surprisingly good quality, especially for this price.The items are all nicely packaged together in one shrink-wrapped set, making for a nice, expensive looking, easy to wrap, gift.I HIGHLY recommend this set.

I bought this when it was on sale and I thought it was good value for the money. These are my very first art supplies so I can't compare it to anything but the stuff was good enough for beginners or for kids. The dark brushes are better than the white ones, but they shed a lot of hair initially. Two notebooks are 90lb but they still bend in watercolor, but the watercolor doesn't bleed to the back of the page so you can use both sides. The other notebook is not good for watercolor, better for pen, pencils, or maybe markers.

Nice set of paper and brushes. I'm just using them for my own creative enjoyment. Markers and painting with india ink. Brushes aren't the best but good enough. Good value on notebooks though. Little color wheel is ok but very small and basic. I don't see myself getting much use out of it.
