Thank you for answers on killing mealy bugs. I would like to add neem oil to this product, how much is recommend?

Hey I just saw your question. For 1 litre of solution, you add 20-60ml of potassium soap (I use 60 because although I live in a medium hard water area, I want to make sure it’s working). I then add 5-6 ml of liquified (warmed) neem oil. The potassium soap acts as an emulsifier so you don’t need to add dish soap. I got the neem oil ration from the web and have used it several times. It can let it drip into the soil as well, the active azadirachtin can be absorbed by the plant and affect bugs that eat the leaves for up to 4 weeks. I hope this has helped and I’ve tried to be as accurate as I can.

It will cover the plant with a protective film so that thrips cant feed on the plant.

Will this kill azalea bark scale?

My experience with scale has been, this reduces the scale infestation greatly but does not stop it completely. This is applying it weekly.

Can you add this to neem oil and water to make a spray for use on fruit trees?

you can, but you dont need to, because potassium soap works perfectly on fruit trees alone.
