Great product for cleaning the track of dust and dirt.

pretty amazing little car ! Even after vacuming with a handheld this picked up more crud and dust !

There's no denying this is a marvelous bit of engineering (no pun intended). It sweeps, deburrs, polishes and even vacuums your N gauge rails.My only complaint is that the instructions are all in Japanese. The illustrations are helpful clues, but it sure would be nice to be certain I'm using it exactly as intended.For example, what type and brand of fluid goes in the liquid reservoir? In what order should I be using the various attachments? How long should I run it per cleaning session?I've looked all over the internet and can find no English instructions. So far I've just been doing what seems logical. Hopefully the manufacturer will realize that sales would likely improve if they expanded their target demographic to include more countries than just Japan.Edit: It occurred to me that someone reading this may have instructions in English or may know where to find them online. If that's you, how about a clue for the rest of us poor unfortunates?

Marginal operation without a DCC setup. Needs full track power to really clean. Locomotives want to fly off the track. Does put a load on the engines pulling power for the most part(I'm using FEF)

May possibly work but as I cant read Japanese I will never know!!!! I can find no english translation for this model online. Irresponsible to sell a product like this without an Ebish set of instructions.

I was really surprised how much debris this track cleaning car vacuumed up on my N scale layout...lint, dust, loose ballast, tiny pieces of pink foam board and very, very fine dust. In order to get it to work I had to install a DCC decoder and replace the Rapido couplers with MicroTrains couplers (see Mike Fifers YouTube instructions). I'm only using it for the vacuum feature because I have other cars for cleaning the rails. Well worth every penny I paid for it.

Does a good job.
