He was getting tired of the grape, so we decided to switch it up and go with the watermelon. And for some reason, the grape works better than the watermelon. And it turns out that the watermelon flavor was not the one for him. The vitamin itself, with the minerals and nutrients is great, we've seen growth results in a couple of months. But is that because he's 8 and going through a spurt? I don't know. They could be helping with that. But just the taste and texture of the watermelon are giving him a hard time. So I tried it. It's not the best flavor, watermelon. If you're expecting that watermelon flavor of jolly rancher, you're not getting that candy flavor. The vitamin itself is a good size, a cute little perfectly formed bear, a great visual for kids. It's a little chalky or gritty in a gummy form, leaves that vitamin texture or substance in the roof of your mouth after chewing it. For the kiddos, I would suggest eating or drinking something right after taking it if they don't like that vitamin feeling. As a positive, it's an option that's not a candy vitamin and he's getting the extra nutrients that's helping him grow.
