Great teleprompter for the price. No need to mirror your iPad or laptop because it comes with a tablet. The tablet is pretty awesome and has different apps and connects via wifi or different inputs like usb, mini usb, or an SD card. Comes with many adapters and adjustable bracket for different sized cameras. I’m using it on a DSLR as pictured. The quality of the projection is crystal clear you’re able to record through the screen without any of the letters showing up on your video as it’s intended use. Also comes with a Bluetooth remote that connects to the tablet as a trigger/scroller. Set up wasn’t difficult at all. It did take looking at the manual and figuring out how all the brackets go together as well as how the tablet is positioned on the bracket. Last and final tidbits. Make sure you have a solid tripod because the whole setup has some weight to it and can tip over if you’re not using a sturdy tripod. Last but not least, it does not come with a carrying case so I pretty much used the box it came with and the foam inserts as a case.

I’ve always wanted a teleprompter and wow, it is a game changer. Memorizing scripts and dealing with multiple takes is a thing of the past now with this teleprompter. I the setup was quick and easy and works with a phone or tablet. I’m using an iPhone 11 and iPad Air for the teleprompter portion. Both work great and the glass teleprompter screen reflects the scripts perfectly. It even comes wirh a cool Bluetooth controller that you can use to start and stop the GVM teleprompter app. For recording it has mounts to use a phone or camera. I’ve tried recording with both my iPhone 11 and Sony a6600 and it works flawlessly. If you’re looking to save time and up the quality of your scripted videos, YouTube videos, etc., get one of these. It’s a huge time saver.

I love the teleprompter itself, I give it a 5…but the tablet has had some connectivity issues I have yet to resolve. Fortunately I have found a workaround where I can load a micro disc with my documents. Still trying to get direct download. I wish it came with the carry case… I found one that works though

The tablet that comes with the product is terrible. My GVM Teleprompter App will not work, the google play app will not work, google chrome will not work. If you're going to spend almost $1,000 on a teleprompter, do not go with this. I would argue if you're spending this type of money on video gear, you don't want this brand's logo on your set.

I had high hopes for this 18.5" teleprompter. I can tell this was previously used so I was not happy about that. After assembling everything I turned on the included tablet and found the teleprompter app. I was able to get the app to work and it did a great job. The remote also worked well. But after 10 minutes there was an error message, something to the effect that "The App Stopped Working". Well, I tried rebooting the tablet/monitor. Nothing. I kept trying to turn it on and all I got was a blank screen with a small image of what looked like a camera shutter logo. I tried turning the tablet on and off for an hour and finally gave up. So, I packed it all back up and shipped it back. I will look for a more reliable teleprompter, but not on Amazon. What a disappointment.

Overall, this Teleprompter is a fantastic Teleprompter for the price. It’s built like a tank, and has a decent amount of adjustability for a variety of camera set ups. The only thing that it’s lacking seems to be a case. I purchased this for my clients, and it makes everything easier to read, without destroying any of the video quality.

It's well built and easy to assemble, my only complaint is that the iPad mount is too tight and I'm using a mini, I would hate to have to put a regular iPad in there. But it does what it's supposed to, I wish I could adjust the speed with the remote but hay, I didn't spend a lot on this either!
