Great product - installation instructions here!!
Great product. Install is simple but confusing of never done before. I bought this for a 2014 Mustang so instructions may vary, but the process is surely very similar. To install you’ll need to have a plastic upholstery pry tool (cheap to purchase), and an appropriate screwdriver to take off your license plate. 1. Remove your license plate using an appropriate screwdriver. 2. (Depending on the vehicle, may be optional) Above the license plate, where the lights are located, is a panel covering the lights. Using the pry tool, pop this out. There are 3 clips affixing it to the vehicle, pop out the middle section clip, then the 2 outside. The small panel should come out easily, then exposing the lights. 3. Using the same pry tool, simply wedge it between the metal of the vehicle and the black housing of the light. Pull down until you hear a click, then using the pry tool, pull down the other side of the light housing. This “click” you hear is the 1 of 2 clips snapping open from the housing. At this point, the light housing and affixed wire should be hanging through the hole of the vehicle. 4. Grab the light housing and the wire connector, press the tab on the bottom of the wire connector, and the light housing should release. 5. Simply plug the new LED light housing into the connector until you hear a click. 6. Gently plush the light housing back into the hole of your vehicle, being sure to push the back (wire most portion) in first, followed by the front of the housing. You will hear 1 or 2 clicks, signaling the light is in place. 7. Reinstall the light panel with 3 simple clicks into place. 8. Reinstall your license plate. Boom! Success! The whole process took me less than 10 minutes and was very simple. Some videos on YouTube show you need to remove the back bumper for this…. Absolutely not. Follow these instructions and it will be a breeze. Product is excellent and a great upgrade to standard bulbs.

Perfect fit and pretty bright
They fit perfect it just took me a little bit to figure out how to get the factory ones out, Take off the panel that’s behind the license plate you’ll need a plastic pry tool so you don’t scratch the paint

Good buy andupgrade.
Easy installation...if you are careful. First off the ordering and delivery were easy and fast. This was an accidental order in that it was in my in "cart." So it was a kismet luck order. Decided to use it ow that I had the part. The OEM light is held in by what appears to be two flat black "Phillips" head screws. Not so as they only look as such. They are black plastic pry out expanders. This and the expander they fit into are to be reused so take care with removal to avoid broken parts. The light was an easy plug/play item. Took no more than a few minutes. Prior to doing the work I'd suggest you check the OEM light by turning on the headlights. You want to know if the socket/bulb have power to them.
