Not actual passion fruit pieces
I got this to make chocolate truffles as I have done with freeze dried raspberries but it is more of a topper for cereal. Having said that the flavour is good and it did work to make passion fruit flavour truffles

NOT fruit pieces!
Silly me! I was looking at freeze-dried strawberries and raspberries for what felt like ages, unable to decide which one was better, so in the end I thought, why not go with something more exotic instead… freeze-dried passion fruit! That was a big mistake, as what I’ve received is definitely not fruit. It’s just some cheap maltodextrin with a bit of fruit juice chucked in. It doesn’t taste very good either… it’s very sour and doesn’t have the typical sweetness of passion fruit.Unfortunately, I only read the detailed ingredients list after I’d opened the package; otherwise I would’ve returned it. If it wasn’t for the not-entirely-honest advertising (see the pic), I’d have definitely blamed myself for this mistake, but the seller really needs to update their listing, as it’s a tad misleading…
