Very comfortable with excellent grip
GripTread brand socks are the most comfortable socks I own that are treated with a rubberized tread-like surface on the underside. The ankle socks are very comfortable. I have slight lymphedema in my lower right leg and the band at the top of these socks, while it comfortable, is slightly constrictive but I have learned over time that an easy solution is to cut the ring of threads that holds the folded over tops of socks. This allows the socks to unfold, thereby reducing pressure. Sometimes a few spandex threads or bands of elastic also need to be removed. The ankle socks don’t require removal of either spandex or elastic.I own two styles of GripTreads: crew socks, which go about halfway up the ankle, and ankle socks, which stop at the bottom the ankle. I am delighted with both.

They fit perfect!
My husband just had back surgery and we have wooden & tile floors, these are perfect. He’s very picky about socks, if the cuffs around the ankles are tight he’s very uncomfortable and unhappy. When I pulled these out of the bag and slipped them on he was all smiles. Finally, these were a home run! They are a beautiful color, very well made in the USA, by a family run business and we couldn’t be happier.

We're talking "stop on a dime and give you change." These socks look OK and feel OK. The magic is their grip on my wood floors and on my exercise mat. NO slip, NO slide.

I have been wearing hospital tread socks for my Pilates class, but these are exponentially better. They don't slide off my feet, but they are also warmer. All around a good purchase.

Bought these for a parent with Parkinson's. The extra grip gives him more security and confidence whilst walking. Definitely worth the couple extra dollars for a premium product. He is a size 8 and these fit fine.
