Xbox 360 controller led mod RING OF LIGHT LEDS- WHITE

First off, you absolutely must have AT LEAST moderate soldering ability (or exceptional patience and a strong ability to learn). Use as thin of a rosin core solder as you can find, with a fine solder tip as well. VERY IMPORTANT: Check the polarity of the LEDs. On the backside of the LED, you will see a blue T. Make sure the tip of the T is pointed towards the top of the controller. Also, they tend to float on the solder (since they are itty bitty) so make sure you can work around that. Take off the original LEDs by flooding them, then go back and clean off excess solder. Magnifying glass/helping hands stand recommended.Now, on to the actual product. They send you five, just in case you lose one (which you will if you blink). When your controller is fully charged, they glow bright and full. As the battery dwindles the lights will dwindle as well, right down to where you can barrreeelllyyy tell they're even lit. While this may be a drawback to some, I like it and use it a battery gauge.Thoroughly recommended if you know what you're doing.

They're not too annoyingly bright but not too dim so you can't barely see them. HIGHLY reccomend this to anyone doing this mod. I'm soon going to order 2 more orders to change the green leds on my console itself to white. 5 out of 5. Definately buy it.

Very dim. Make sure you order 8 or more lights because once you drop one of these, its basically gone forever - they're absolutely tiny.

First time i've ever installed leds on controller. Took me about 5 minutes to do, but I finally got the lights on the circuit board. These lights are reallllllly small, like the size of a grain of sand so became, I took one light out a time. They look amazing and I will probably put these lights on all of my controllers. I bought this and trying to get it in the controller takes a lot of effort cause it was my first time doing that and there are lots of small pieces that are lost very easily also i never did get it to work so that costed me a 30$ controller down the drain but i got it for 90c so i cant complain when i got such a good deal but this should come with instructions to help you install them.

If you have enough patience, experience, and a steady hand than you should definitely put these in your controller, way better than the boring old green lights. It only comes with 4 so if you loose one then you'll have to order some more and its insanely easy to loose these. Just one little breath could send one of the sand grain sized LEDs lost forever so i suggest you work over a large baking pan or something like that. You'll need a soldering iron around 30W or else you could damage your LEDs or controller. Otherwise i recommend you get these to spice up your controller. I'll put up some pics of my perty controller.

I would have really enjoyed these, I've installed more than a few lights and for my uses i only needed 2, They looked nice and for the price of 4 bucks good quality, but these things i can only assume for the lights never came. After about 3 almost 4 months they lights still never arrived. so they shipping. (i must say personally) is crap. and i only say this from personal experience just because my shipping time,(if you could even call it that) is so bad doesn't mean yours will be so don't hold back just because of one review saying the time is bad because apparently others got it on time.

These LED's are absolutely amazing, but I would never buy them again is because they are too small, I lost all of them. BUT DON'T LISTEN TO THIS PART! I got one installed, but with glue, not soldering. YOU HAVE TO WATCH A VIDEO ON ANY WEBSITE ON HOW TO DO IT FIRST! BECAUSE THEY ARE REALLY TINY AND YOU WILL NEED A SOLDERING IRON! I would recommend doing this on a large desk, I did it on carpet, which resulted in the loss of all of them, I did get one installed and it looked amazing! Its just that I screwed it up and dislodged it, resulting in me crying myself to sleep, and another thing is that they are really cheap, not cheap cheap, price cheap, so it wasn't a major loss.
