This is my first time buying Tahini sauce but I have tried it before. I did a fair amount of research regarding different brands, and decided to buy Kevala for the quality first, and also the value was good. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and rich sesame flavor. If you are making this for a salad dressing.. You're going to need thin it out with some of the following ingredients which should be extremely easy "water+ lemon juice" should be enough, but i may experiment with some type of vinegar. Just a little bit should do the trick. I haven't done it myself yet, but will be preparing a batch next time I use it with high expectations for success.

this is such a nice pure organic tahini that makes it taste so good when I use it to make my homemade hummus. it’s so easy to make hummus when you have tahini and a few little articles like some garlic and olive oil. I make it often and I like to have it in the fridge so I can pull it out if anybody comes over and have a snack.

I love the quality and the flavor, and especially the size. I buy two at a time if they don’t have the larger 2 pound jar. I eat a lot of hummus. Excellent quality and never had a problem.

I use tahini in hummus and assorted sauces. This is hulled raw sesame tahini, tastes fresh, and worked well in my hummus. It does separate, so it needs to be stirred before use. The only down-side was that I ran out, so I ordered it in July. When it arrived, the jar was actually too hot to comfortably handle, WAAAAY hotter than the outdoor temperature at the time of delivery. Delivery Trucks that are not climate controlled can get extremely hot during Southwest Summers, and items transported in those trucks will be as hot as the truck insides, so think 110F outside temp, temps inside enclosed vehicles that are not climate controlled can run upwards of 160F within an hour, so, not good for lots of things. It does come in glass (+++) so you don't have to worry about plastic off-gassing due to high temperatures, but that kind of temperature for extended periods of time can cause products to "cook". (the several hours from the time it is loaded on the truck until it is dropped off at your door). Add this to the list of things to stock up on before the summer heat sets in 😁.

When opened, I didn't find most of the jar a big clump, to be mixed in. There was a little accumulation, but not like I've experienced with other brands. A little tart, but that's just my tastebuds, I always add in a little maple syrup to sweeten in up. I use for any baking items which require nut butter, with a banana, overnight oats. Uses is as big as the imagination!

This tahini is so delicious. You will want to eat it by the spoonful. I use it when I make hummus. I put it in my falafel sauce and salad dressings and yes, I do sneak a spoonful from time to time! 🥰 I just love the taste

Does it taste good? I have no idea. It was packaged so well I was impressed. But then I opened the jar. Nothing but black runny liquid, like coffee with a shine. I have been vegan and eating tahini from many brands, including black tahini, for years but I am new to this brand. And with that, this will be my last order. I am not going to spend over $10 for something that looks like motor oil. Its maybe good for a dressing, but cannot at all put this on toast, crackers, etc.

My family and I have been looking for good quality tahini that is also reasonably priced. We use a lot of tahini in my house, we put it in hummus and other dishes. So I ordered this so we would try it, and so far everyone likes it a lot! This is good quality tahini for a reasonable price. We are now debating whether to buy the 36 pounder for the next order. Anyways we are sticking to this brand for now, thumbs up from me!
