Beautiful, inspiring, touching and profound
I love this book and the others in the range. Such seemingly simple words, written with simply profound and non judgemental sentiments. It’s with deep gratitude that I’ve learned of these books. Thank you

Kindness is what the world need
I purchased this and two other books right after seeing "It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood" for I felt, even as an over 50 father of a daughter of eight, I still needed some affirmation of my "fatherhooding" abilities. Mister Rogers doesn't give us all the answers and sometimes provides more questions for each of us to answer along the journey of parenthood. It's ironic that so many my generation grew up with the real Mister Rogers then, with Eddie Murphy's rendition, later mocked Mister Rogers, for his kindness, his soft-spoken nature, and really lost his message. Fred Rogers was a dad. Sometimes he felt like he was a good Dad, sometimes he didn't. But one thing he did know is that parenthood is a journey, a journey with highs and lows, successful and pitfalls. He understood the most important part of parenthood is continuing to learn, to grow, and mostly, to give yourself a break. I would hope most people want to be good parents. Mister Rogers just reminds us that sometimes we will be, sometimes we won't, but as long as you care and have the desire to guide your child on a positive path, you'll be fine and so will your child.
