They are definitely better than stock door speakers that’s for sure. Solid base to them and the audio is clear.

I used this set to replace the stock Bose system that came in my 1994 Corvette and added a 600W amplifier to power it. I won't harp on the Bose system from 25 years ago but it needed to be replaced so I started looking for alternatives. With the lack of hatch room, I didn't want to worry about building a subwoofer box that would work with the targa top so I decided to replace the 5" components in the front with 6.5" and the 6.5" components in the back with 6x9's. Started looking towards Infinity and Rockford but I wanted a matching set with the same impedance for simplicity and they weren't cutting it. Ended up taking a chance on this Kicker set and wow.Quality: All high quality parts. Nothing feels cheap. Everything also looks great.Installation: This will vary from installation to installation but no surprises. There isn't much documentation/instructions included but it's all straight-forward.Sound: Absolutely great. I was a little worried that the 6x9's wouldn't provide enough bass to replace a subwoofer but they do. There's no rattling from the housings and between all four speakers, they really cover every type of sound and frequency you would want. Highs are highs, mids are consistent, and there still have the punch of a subwoofer. If you're looking for mind-blowing bass, you may need a standalone subwoofer, but I guarantee the majority of people will be more than satisfied with this set as it's sold.I highly recommend this set and for the price, it's an absolute steal. Just make sure you have a decent amplifier to push the watts that they're capable of. Using these on a car's stock amplifier (usually 15 watts RMS per channel) will be a waste.

I use kicker speakers for everything from cars to making custom boomboxes and they never disappoint. I put these in a 1999 honda civic ex coupe and they bolted right in no modifications required at all. Simple install and they sound great paired with an alpine head unit. The low end is definitely there and the highs are crisp but never get too bright which is what I prefer. I was going to add a shallow under seat subwoofer but now I'm reconsidering because now I don't feel like I need it. They also got delivered fast and were packaged very well. For the money I don't think you could get a better deal for speakers, especially just a factory upgrade without a 4 channel amp or subwoofer. Just replace the head unit and speakers and I think you will be satisfied. That's coming from someone with rockford fosgate t2 components amplified, and 2 15" subwoofers on 3000rms.

Aweso e speakers. Put them in my 2005 Xterra, by myself. Super easy install. The only thing that would make them better, is a small sub to relieve the 2-ways from the bass.

I put a 4 channel 1500 watt hifonic Goliath amp on these 4 speakers and I am very satisfied on how they sound, very clear and very loud, more than your money worth!
