Hello, the fifth product photo in the listing shows a green dot on the EDGE of the bottom face frame where it can be installed as well. I've installed many of these on that edge with no problem. If you are asking whether they can be installed on the FACE of the face fame, I would not recommend that. Thanks so much for your question.
