Very good quality wire. I needed a replacement cable, but with a different plug. I replaced the two plugs on the headphone side, and the wires inside look very nice and high quality. The wire is flexible enough, and the length is just what i need. And finally, but probably most importantly the sound quality. As the jack is gold plated, the connection is perfect for both the 3.5 and 1/4 plug, and I cannot hear any different between this cable and the original that came with my headphone.

Flexible cable, reasonable quality, good price
I'm sure a lot of people looking at this cable are not capable of discerning the very highest discrepancies in sound quality. Heck, most of the people that say they can actually can't. I'm sure a lot of people are just looking for a replacement for their Hifiman cable. That's what I was looking for, that's what I got. It's a lot longer than the default cable which means I'm not so restricted at my computer. Threw on some music and to me it sounds great. The stretch of cable closest to your head is not braided, which is annoying. It makes it look a little inconsistent. But only time will tell if that is really a downside or not. One potentiality is that it stiffens like the original did with time and exposure to skin oils and sweat.

Very pleasantly surprised
I didn’t expect much, to be honest. Twenty dollar cable for couple hundred dollar headphones. Enough said right? WRONG! Quality plugs, the 1/4” threads on to the 3.5mm, spring on the cable side, nice nylon braid, and extra length I wanted. Couldn’t ask for a single additional thing at this price point. The split on the factory cable kept getting caught on things and started dropping out on one of the cups. This cable sounds as good or better than that one. Glad I got to save my favorite cans for such a nice price.Hifiman 4xx, bravo v2, schiit DAC.

Works as expected
I bought this cable because the one that came with my HE 400-i was a bit too short. Like the description says, this cable is braided for the most part, but the part where it forks up to the left and right connectors is made out of a rubbery like material which is a nice touch. The quality of the materials and overall build is nice. The braided material means no tangling mess and the connection to the headphone themselves is solid. There were a few accidentals moments where I pulled one of the cables out of the headphone, but I’d rather have the cable come off then possibly get damaged. For a replacement cable, it’s a bit on the pricey side, but it’s well worth the investment if you’ve already spent money on your Hifiman headphones.

These cords will last long and bring great sound to your headphones.
What I liked about this cord was how sturdy and strong it is, and that I know it will last a long time. Putting them in the HE 4xx's give them an amazing sound. Then putting them into a dac makes them sound even better. I really like these cords, no worries with these. I'm no audiophile, but for less than $200 these headphones are light and they fit on your head well. Bass, mids, and highs are well meshed together bring detail and clarity to your music.

Very good quality cable
This is way better than the one coming with Hifiman Arya Stealth.

Cheap, decent, but microphonic.
This is a usable upgrade from the thick, inflexible and too-short cable provided by Focal. The price is also very nice. But the sleeping and rubber materials make for a highly microphonic cable - taps and vibrations from the cable sliding against a table edge or your office chair transmit readily to the headphones. The connectors won’t win any awards either but they certainly do the job.

Hifiman, learn something from this!
If you are a proud owner of Hifiman Sundara (or any headset that need a balanced stereo cable (one end is 3.5mm stereo that goes into your source such as computer or iPod like music player and the other two ends go into your headphone's left and right cup), then simply throw away the cable it came with and buy this cable. The cable that came with Hifiman Sundara is by far the worst cable I have witnessed in my entire life. The cable is "jumpy", short, and overall just horrendous. It works, but it mars the user experience greatly. This cable literally makes a world of a difference in using that headset. This cable is almost 10 feet long, is made with a braided nylon material, and it works like a charm.
