I brought this on vacation in South Carolina. It was left for hours in a hot car but the water bottles stayed fairly cold. If I had more ice packs it would have been colder. I’m very satisfied. And I love the size, it’s easy to take anywhere.

The zipper is kind of bent in and it’s hard to zip and unzip.

I loved this bag. The padded shoulder pads kept the weight of the bag from hurting my shoulders. The cooler kept things cool for the entire day. The front pocket held my keys, cellphone, and wallet.

My advice, buy it.

A lot easier to carry than a traditional cooler. will hold a lot of cans and ice! I placed sandwiches in outside pockets and they stayed cold!

Surprised with the quality as Amazon now has so many junk things made in China. This is a durable, quality bag that holds a lot.

TL,DR: If you're shopping around and debating, you've found the one! Buy this backpack, especially if it's on sale!I bought this backpack at the last minute. I'd made several frozen meals to take with me on an airplane; however, the 2 gallon freezer bags would not fit into my existing insulated backpack. I needed a new one same day. This one was on sale and it looked like the dimensions would suit my purposes. It worked! I was able to fit two FULL 2 gallon freezer bags of chili and soup, 2 frozen family size chicken pot pies, banana bread, and more. I list these items to give you an idea of the storage capacity of this backpack. The padded straps and back panel were comfortable, even though contents made it very heavy. I also am quite short (under 5') and am able to adjust the straps to a reasonable degree. I have now flown several times with this backpack as my personal item (full of frozen food) and I will continue to do so. The backpack never leaks, the food stays very cold, and I really have no complaints about it! The side pockets are quite roomy and deep, and the front and top zipper compartments are adequate for flat items such as smartphones and small tablets. I have not yet used the bottle opener function on the strap, but I imagine it will be just as practical and well made as the rest of the pack. If you are on the fence, I highly recommend the Trypry Cooler Backpack, especially if it is on sale!
