A delicious coffee
I've been looking for coffee beans that make a solid cup of coffee, and I'm delighted to say that I found it! Coffee preferences and tastes are very subjective, and what's good to one person might not be to another, so keep that in mind. What I want in a good cup of coffee is a straight forward coffee taste. No bitterness, no burnt taste, just something smooth and simple. I don't use a lot of sweetener in my coffee, I generally make it in my Keurig and add a dollop of heavy whipping cream and sometimes a teaspoon of chocolate Keto Chow for the sweetness and flavor. This coffee tastes like a lightly sweetened coffee candy when I make it that way. When I opened the bag, I was welcomed with the delicious aroma of quality coffee, and this bean does deliver on that promise. It's a solid bold flavor without being too strong, and the coffee taste isn't lost when I add the chocolate keto chow and heaving whipping cream. Once this bag is almost empty I'll begin subscribing to it for regular deliveries. it's that good.

Good coffee
I have a bad habit of buying expensive Starbucks drinks. I have been trying to get away from buying Starbucks and have successfully done so in the past. Albeit temporarily. Part of that success is having coffee beans at home that I can grind every morning to make myself fresh coffee. And I have to say I am very pleased with the taste of this coffee as well as the value. It has become more and more difficult to find good whole bean coffee selections at the local store so just ordering it ahead on Amazon has been my solution. I will definitely buy this again. I do not consider myself a connoisseur. I am just an average Joe looking for a real good cup.

Excellent, consistent coffee and a good price!
I have been drinking Real Good Coffee Company Donut Shop for over a year now (2lb bag per month). This coffee has an outstanding, robust flavor without a bitter taste! Other coffees I have tried with a full flavor like this have had a bit too much caffeine for me (getting the jitters after a couple of cups!). Not Real Good Coffee! The experience has been consistent (and awesome) from order to order! The only caveat is that the coffee was unavailable for the month of Dec 2019. I had to try a couple difference coffees during this month and found that they did not compare, much less at this price point! One of the other coffees had a good aroma, but lacked in flavor (even with the machine set to strong, which adds more grounds to the pot a it's brewing). Another had a similar flavor, but at an increased cost! To prevent this from happening, I now have a full bag in my pantry, besides the bag I'm using. As soon as I open the bag in the pantry, I'll order another bag and I hope to never run out again! Outstanding flavor, great value and and overall excellent coffee! Highly recommended!

Finally Found My Coffee!
1st off, I'm NOT a coffee expert. But I love coffee. There was a little independent coffee house I went to for a few years. I loved their regular coffee because it had "something" about the flavor, or feel that I really liked. They closed & I never found out what kind of coffee it was. Since then, I've bought a hand bean grinder, a French Press, a Krupps burr electric grinder, looking for THAT coffee. I'm NOT interested in espresso, latte's or any of that stuff. Just good coffee. I've been trying a bunch of different brands & types of whole bean, but none had what I was looking for. UNTIL NOW! The Real Good Coffee Co. "Donut Shop Medium Roast" is what I've been looking for. The beans are very dark & shiny (for those that know coffee beans). When the bag is opened, the aroma is not any different than I expected. But the coffee I get is what I've been searching for. I've made it in my French Press, My Hamilton Beach single cup coffee maker, & just threw in a handful of grounds in boiled water on a camp stove. Each time, I'm really satisfied.. I know coffee flavor is a personal thing & some folks get carried away with the "Art or Science" of coffee brewing. But I just want a good cup or tall mug of coffee a few times a day & this is it. So long Arbuckles, Starbucks, etc., etc. Incidentally, the Krupps burr grinder grinds too fine for French press, even on coarsest setting. Hand grinder is better but more work. (Although the finished-brewed- coffee is about the same.)

Coffee tastes great! Bag was broken when received though. Beans spreading all over the place in the box. Received an offer of a full refund or replacement later on. Great customer service experience too. Will continue using their products!

This light roast is a great coffee, not the best coffee I've ever had, but miles above the average.

Bit darker than what I'd call a 'light roast' but good coffee none the less.

This shouldn't really be marketed as a light roast, I found it to be pretty darkly roasted and not the flavour I was after. I honestly couldn't even finish it and ended up giving it to a friend that doesn't mind a darker/almost burnt flavour. The price is pretty good, but again, it's not a light roast by any means, and doesn't have the same flavour. Just take a look at the beans, they are basically black in colour and shiny/greasy looking.
