Like others have said, the OEM wiring harness does not click into place. I originally thought this was the reason my idle was not corrected on my 2000 Wrangler. After finally removing the newly installed IAC and watching it function while connected, I realized that it was not working at all. Multimeter test revealed that on of the coils in the stepper motor was not connected. I disassembled the unit, removed the motor, made note of where the wiring was supposed to go, and ordered a slightly larger and heavier duty stepper motor. I plan to 3D print (high temp SLA) part of the housing to hold the motor in place and hope for the best.

NOT a direct fit for an 04 LJ. The plug does connect but it doesnt reach the clip to secure it, the sensor shaft is maybe half an inch shorter than the OEM, the screws are Phillip's instead of torx and not the right size. Seems to work as far as the sensor part. I'll monitor my fuel air ect and report if anything changes.

It works great so far good price but the screws is to small

same as oe but screws did not fit just used old ones but works good easy install less than 10 minutes

1990 Jeep Cherokee. Pretty simple to install. However, not a guaranteed fix alone, for high idle issues. High idle issues is Jeep's dragon to be chased. (Still on my quest for legendary status.)
