Product Description Digitally remastered edition. This timeless album from 1966 features the smash hits "I Hear a Symphony" and "My World Is Empty Without You," as well as the standard "Stranger in Paradise" and covers like the Beatles' 'Yesterday" and "Unchained Melody" by the Righteous Brothers. Review While none of these LP s are strictly rare in CD form these issues are re mastered in high definition format to give pure listening pleasure and visually they are superbly housed in replica cardboard jackets exactly like the original and complete with authentic inner LP bag. - Paul Nixon --Ipswich Times

I hear a symphony
One of my favorite albums by them. When I was younger I just liked the songs, but now I listen for the harmonies.Florence is amazing on the title tune.

Love the Supremes hate the audio .
Love the music but even remastering can't help the audio . In its hayday Motown was one of the best sounding labels period !! Then this was released . Bad audio !!

Disastrous
This is a 5 star LP but the remastering is barely worth 1 star. The Culture Factory version is all base and high treble. Even trying to use my equalizer to "fix" the audio is a disaster. As most people have written about other Culture Factory releases, even the "cheapest" version of the same CD issued by the original label sounds better than their versions. I actually have this CD when it was first released by Motown…I thought that version lacked "umph"…this "remastered" version is far worse. I ordered about 10 Culture Factory releases this week on other Supreme as well as other artists. I have all these already on CD, but love the idea of the label and original packaging. I CANCELLED all of them in time after I received this and heard this version. The beauty of the original packaging and art work is not worth it for the poor remastering this company offers. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Find another version of any of the Culture Factory remasters…they are just that bad.

My CD'S
I absolutely was delighted to receive this CD and another one by the Supremes. I have both albums but no record player and I was thrilled to find both on Amazon. Thank you so much. I look forward to doing more business with Amazon.com.

another supremes hit
I am so happy to see these old LPs on cd. I hope the company can issue the others this way especially after diana ross left and jean took over. those were great too and I miss hearing them all.

A mixture of sounds
This 1965 album contains some of the Supremes best tracks the whole of side 2 of the original vinyl is great but the cover versions on side 1 "Yesterday" ," With a song" and " Without a Song ",spoil this collection their versions of "Unchained Melody " and " Stranger In Paradise " are not too bad but It does include one of my favourite Supreme's singles " My World Is Empty...... " I think this is the stereo version of this album but I couldn't swear on it . The remastered sound is really good .

HALF HDH, HALF COVERS
By 1966,THE SUPREMES were the most popular girl group of the sixties. Most of their albums had a share of good HOLLAND-DOZIER-HOLLAND songs plus covers to fill the 30 minutes mark.In this case, the covers are excellent and let DIANA shines as a singer.STRANGER IN PARADISE,YESTERDAY and WONDERFUL,WONDERFUL were already well known songs and I HEAR A SYMPHONY and MY WORLD IS EMPTY WITHOUT YOU were the girls's current hits. All of the early SUPREMES albums until 1967- with the exception of one country misfire- are worth buying.
