Wanted basic for home use this is for business and way too detailed and above my level. IF this is for Dummies I must BE stupid dumb . wanted basic book . Not 57 pages on the cloud. then other stuff i have no idea of. I was looking for this is how you start from the beginning .My fault bought the wrong book. I love shopping on Amazon. Can trust site and great shipping .

The book is outdated (does not even reference OneDrive), spends way too many words on praising Office 365 and not enough words on explaining it, and did nothing to help me set it up. Have had this same problem with other "Dummies" books and would not recommend buying another one again.

This book is for those working in a business environment. If you have Office 365 Home Premium, this is 'not' the book for you.Currently there does not seem to be a book covering :-The setting up of a Skydrive account, so that you can make the best use of it. Such as saving to the computer as well as to the Cloud and keeping them in sync.The basics of the various programs, there are those familiar with a couple of the programs, but not all of them.Making use of the extra minutes of Skype that are available with this subscription.Describe the setting up of good security and whether you should control your backups, instead of leaving it up to Microsoft.This book assumes you already know the programs you are going to use and concentrates on setting up the necessary environment to enable you to co-operate with your colleagues. It seems to be succinctly written, but I cannot verify some of the information. For instance I do not have and have never used Lync so I cannot comment on it.I generally enjoy the 'Dummies' series of books, for the way they impart knowledge. This book is written in a more serious veinand I found it harder to read, however I am sure it will meet the needs of its target audience.

Office 365 for Dummies is an easy read and follow directions training book that anyone can learn from. The book gives a very through explanation of the Microsoft Cloud and Office 365. The illustrations match the written directions very well and make everything very clear. I purchased the book at a good price and it shipped in three days. I am very happy with my purchase and how easy the book is to use and learn from.Mar

I wanted to setup Office 365 and I am not an IT professional. From a title like "Office 365 for dummies", I expected at least a step by step setup guide. But this book is more a description of features and possibilities of Office 365, rather than a setup guide for dummies.
