The super soft foam palms is exactly what my son's keeper coach recommended he get for best performance. We ordered a size 5 for my 8 year old (51" tall) son.

My daughter is 8 yrs old and plays goalie on her soccer team. She currently plays both indoor and outdoor soccer on 2 teams and has played on the all star league. Previous to this we have not gone the route of goalie gloves as I couldn't find a pair that would fit her tiny little hands and felt everyone we had seen in the store was too big & cumbersome that I know she wouldn't keep them on in the game. I was pleasantly surprised when these gloves arrived! Not only did they fit with the sizing description that was provided in the ad but they were small and comfortable for my daughter! The material is strange, it's super soft and squishy. They are grippy, take a little bit of effort to get them on a sweaty little hand but just a push or two from mom & they went right on. I imagine a bigger girl would be able to get them on & off easily on her own, or maybe it's just my daughter that always needs help with everything! She couldn't wait to wear them & they held up well in her practice. She is excited to wear them for her beach blast tournament coming up next weekend. I was excited when I was approved to review these gloves at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review as I had been looking at getting her a pair for about a year. It was perfect timing when these became available! What a great set of gloves!
