These are a great replacement for the pads that the Sennheiser HD 450 came with - they're much softer on the ear. They are slightly too large, but that's not really a problem. The Sennheiser's have a reasonably tight grip so they don't slip because the pads are a bit looser. They were easy to fit. Very happy with them.

They weren't at all hard to install. The installation instructions are reassuring. They feel nice. Sound of the headphones is unchanged. I haven't worn them long enough to comment on if they're comfortable for extended wear yet, but so far so good. Also I wonder whether they might be better at blocking out unwanted noise from outside the headphones - I'll have to give them a go in a noisy cafe and see.

I've had my Sony headphones for years and love the build quality overall, but eventually the padding got tired and split. It also left the sides of my head covered in little black bits. Shopped around and found these replacement cushions. The pictures show what you get in the package, the before and after, and a comparison between the original worn out cushions and the new ones. I will say that they were easy to install, and the whole thing took less than 5 minutes to get done.
