DharmaObjects 3 Box Original Potala Tibetan Traditional Incense (Large 60 Sticks)

These are very good smelling earthy and natural herbal incense sticks. I searched and read many product reviews, looking for an authentic, Tibetan type, non toxic incense sticks. They are easy to light, and are sturdy. I break each stick into fours, and burning that amount is adequate to fill a room with scent. These are just what I was looking for.

These sticks smell amazing! They have a rich buttery creamy sandalwood scent layered on top of a Tibetan scent I’m not familiar with. I first smelled the bottom scent with Lama Chopda incense which smelled like B.O to me and some of the reviewers on Amazon. I think the bottom scent in this stick is what they were shooting for because the sweet earthy scent is divine. Both scents smell terrific layered on top of each other. It’s weird because they both are strong, but don’t mix together for some reason. It’s like oil and water. Ut it’s what makes these stick smell so amazing. On the website they don’t list the ingredients, but they say “it is totally absent of chocking” and they are “non-habit forming”, so that’s good.I would say this Potala Incense has a more commercial scent to it compared to traditional Tibetan sticks. It’s like they added a little of the right kind of essential oils to make the scent really stand out. This isn’t an incense you will get bored of quickly. Both scents have some texture to them that enhance the smell. The scent is somewhat strong, but not overpowering.Each box contains 24 10” sticks that burn for over two hours each. My only issue with the Potala incense is that the sticks aren’t uniform (I uploaded a second pic of one of them). The ends of the sticks can be pretty bent so when you unwrap them out of the box for the first time, you can’t get them all back in because of the bent ends. I wonder if they wrap these up while they’re still drying. Scent is subjective, but these are amazing and I highly recommend them.

I purchased it since i loved the same one from China i thought it would the same, but it smelled different

This is the BEST incense. I don't know what it is about it that I'm so attracted to, but it's just such a... perfect smell. It also doesn't have any wood so it almost doesn't even smoke. And because of the size of the sticks, I can have one burning for a good 2 hours. These things are ridiculous. I don't burn anything else in my house anymore. I just need more of this. Give it all to me.

Tibetan incense is not at all sweet and it's always been my favorite for meditation.

it was such a big surprise for me to bought this item from Amazon , I used to buying this item from Tibetan store for 1 for $ 15 dollars and from Amazon i got this price for 3 box which is Disgusting buying this item from Tibetan store for long time here at Berkeley ca . thank you Amazon . Use this incense for spiritual practice and meditation.

Nothing was broken, they're lasting me a long while; It's been a year since my purchase and I have two boxes left- If you want a description of the actual scent, all I can capably explain is how strong they are; You'll want to be relaxed, if you just waft past it you won't pick up on the detail of the scent and it will come off to you like smoke.
