The headline is misleading. Bought this candle because I thought it was the best value for the money. However it was deceiving it is a 16 oz mason jar but there is only 12 oz of candle wax in there. Seller should put the amount of actual candle you get instead of saying 16 oz mason jar leaving you to figure out how much they put in it.

First let me start by saying it's important to me that the candles I burn in my home are 100% soy. Candlelove candles are exactly that and so much more. I love to walk through my house and smell the different aromas ofmy jar candles. I love how they make my home so pleasant and relaxing. The candle I bought is the Candlelove Carrot Cake and it's my first jar from this company. I really love the fragrance and it does smell like real carrot cake my mom used to make. These jar candles come in a generous 16oz. jar. I thought for the amount of candle and the fact of 100% soy the price was very reasonable. Candlelove has a nice selection of fragrances to please every taste. My order was shipped in a timely manner with the candle arriving intact.I think for the quality of the ingrediant being all soy and the different fragrances you won't find a better deal. The company even emailed me to make sure I received my order. You don't hear of that kind of service very much. If you love carrot cake as I do you will love this jar candle from Candlelove. The scent is just enough to fill my lower floors with this yummy smell.If you want your house to smell nice and for you to relax I highly recommend jar candles by Candlelove. You won't be sorry.I definately will be purchasing more from this awesome company and looking forward to smelling new scenses. Great service too.

I was so excited to find a true gardenia scented candle. It was delivered on time and at first sniff, it smells pretty good. When lighted, unfortunately, the scent is zero. I thought it was because it was in a fairly large room. I moved it to my office which is about 11x11, but nothing, no smell at all.Money wasted. Very sad and disappointing.

I ordered this hoping for a nice fall pumpkin scent, and when I burned it, nothing. I thought maybe since it is a smaller candle, it would work fine in a small room. Still nothing. Next I attempted to burn it in my bathroom, with the door closed in case I was missing something. Yes I was missing something; any scent from this candle! When I blew out the wick, my nose worked fine, and I could smell the wax. After exiting the bathroom going outside and reentering the room, there still was no scent. Not sure why it is called "Pumpkin Spice" I guess just for the color?

Not the scent for me. I do have to say when i recieved this and took off the cover it smelt strong even when it was lighted. I had it in a 10x12 bedroom and had the door open everytime i lit it and the smell stayed strong in the room. It does melt quickly which for me is a good thing cause you dont have to wait hours for the wax to melt edge to edge. I was also able to smell this sent about 2 feet away not lighted with the cover off.The gardenia though I believe gave me a headache and that could be the scent and the strong smell of the candle.I will try the baby powder and see how that goes but that might be my last try for this brand if it does not go well. It would be nice if amazon offered their linen candle becuase i am looking for a fresh clean smell for me bedroom.Update: I ended up returning the baby powder maybe a few weeks ago. It just was not the scent for me. Today I recieved a surprise in the mail. The candlove company has been reading my review and they sent me a complimentary candle (Christmas Tree) and a Smokey Mountain Pine car freshner with a letter about my review and wanting me to be a happy customer.Well I do have to say thank you and I thought it was sweet what you have done. I don't think I have had a company that sells on amazon do something like this before. As for the scent of the candle I do like it and so does my husband. We will definitely light it during christmas time. Thanks again for reading my review.

I ordered 8 of these candles, all in different scents. Watermelon, candy cane, hot fudge brownie, hot bacon n maple, cabin fever, cucumber melon, butt naked and autumn harvest. All except cabin fever (smelled like old lady powder, not patchouli and sandalwood) smelled WONDERFUL when I opened them. However, when burned NONE of them gave off any more than a slight hint of the scent and most not even that. So, if you choose to buy do not waste your time picking scents, rather go by color you like. Complete disappointment, will not possibly reorder this brand.

I'm a fan of baby powder but it's not the most robust scent, so the candle needs to have good throw. This one does and it fills the entire room, without being overpowering. It a has a pure, soothing, baby powder scent. I'll be honest, I'm fairly disorganized so, while spring cleaning, I had packed a box of odds and ends, stuck it in the back of a closet and forgotten about it. One of the things in the box was a Candlove Baby Powder candle (it was nearly empty and I love to re-use the cute jars). I trimmed the wick, lit what little was left, and it smelled just like I had started a brand new candle. This sent me running to Amazon to GET a new one, because it had been in that box for two years! I do trim the wick before lighting each time, to keep it from mushrooming. The wax doesn't tunnel and there's a minimal amount of soot. I'll be trying other scents now, because I'm so impressed with the quality!

I really like the scent, a lot. Not something I expected to say about bear farts! However, after I burned it for the first time, the wick seemed to crumble away and disappear into the wax. I have been attempting to light it after digging the wick from hard wax for a bit. It is lighting for a brief moment then goes out.Edit 2/26/2017:After some digging and working with the wick, I was able to get the candle to light again. The flame burns very hot, and left most of the jar black. This also made it burn quicker than my other candles. I will add back a star because I was able to get it to burn again, and also because it did have a nice scent even to the end.
