This is a really great starter tank for baby turtles. Mine has grown from quarter size to palm sized and this tank has housed her well. Worth the price for how long it has lasted. Comes with most everything you need.

This was the perfect setup….. until I realized there was no way to find nor buy replacement filters.. yes they give 2 but once there gone then what?? Would have give. 5 stars if it was for the fact I had to go but another filter I could find replacements for.

The media could not be loaded. I order two of these and so far so good. I’ve reviewed tons of tank and Minus a thermometer & food, this product comes with everything you need for a baby turtle at a decent price. Now I was never a pet person, but I got my kids two baby turtles after the circus on Mother’s Day weekend and once we got home, omg I didn’t know what I was doing and they was dying on me. After a LOAD of research I learned what was immediately needed for them to survive and that list was EXPENSIVE. So for this decent price I was able to get majority of everything they needed, easy to assemble, a decent tank size, and a cool layout for them to still feel like they’re in the wild. The water filter is kind of at a high volume, especially at night, but I love the waterfall sound so I’m not bothered lol. Of course, as they get bigger, I will have to get a bigger tank, but for now this product is 100% worth the buy. (No I didn’t leave them of the floor, it was just easier to test & set up the tanks)

I returned this item. It’s basically junk….very cheaply made. The size is not appropriate for anything other than feeding or temporary housing while cleaning the turtles aquarium. The filter works very intermittently, if at all. The light is not a UVA/UVB lamp. The bulb shattered while in the lamp. Because of these issues, it is in no way appropriate to keep a turtle in. I would be embarrassed to sell this product. Not to mention, I had to drag it all the way to Kohls to return. The business should be paying someone to come get their defective items. They sold a shoddy product, they should assume the responsibility and hassle of returning it.

This seems to be a decent habitat for our turtles but if I did it over again I wouldn’t order the whole set I would order just the habitat. The light bulb went out in a week so we have to try to find a replacement, the fake plants our turtles tried to eat so we had to remove them, and the whole for food our turtles seem to think is a spot to use the bathroom so we can’t actually put their food there.

So we found a tiny baby red eared slider in the hot Arizona sun and brought her home not knowing what to do. So I ordered this to keep her safe until we decided if we would keep her or give her to a rescue. Okay.. after we got this and saw how ADORABLE she was we kept her! She is thriving in a larger tank now, but this one saved her and I am so grateful for its perfect size, sturdiness, price, and how easy it was to clean. PLUS it comes with everything you need!
