Harry Potter Hufflepuff Crest Officially Licensed Silky Touch Super Soft Throw Blanket 50" x 60"

This arrived wadded up into a shipping bag. It looked like it was used or returned. The material is so thin, you can easily poke a hole through it. It is printed on a very thin white material and the white shows through on the printed part making the colors look washed out and cheap. The Amazon picture makes it look like it has a white liner with a black cloth that the design is printed on.I have never seen a material so thin that is called fleece. I even looked at JoAnns fabric and all their fleece is MUCH heavier than this. It IS extremely soft, the only good thing I could find about this product.For the price I could have bought a much nicer blanket and had someone screen print the hogwarts crest on it. I have a hard time believing that the Harry Potter franchise authorized their design on something so cheap looking.The concept is a brilliant one, but the manufacturer and/or the seller chose to make money selling cheap crap at the expense of HP fans. It's a shame as many fans would gladly pay, a little more even, for a quality blanket with this design.This was to be a gift for a HP fan, but I would be embarrassed to gift this.

At first, I thought it was damaged when it arrived. The coloration looked as if the thing had been bleeched. The entire blanket, from the black background to the colored crest, looked marblized. But it was not bleeched or stained. The fleece material is actually white in color, and the design is merely printed on the surface. Imagine a bad dye job for your hair. No matter what you do, the tips are colored but underneath is all white. When you rub your hand across the surface, you see both the thinly printed graphic AND the deep white underlying fibers. Generally, the black background appears muddy grey because of the mix of black and white. The crest looks stained because the coloration is not consistent. The inconsistency, again, comes from the white underlying fibers. If you are looking for quality dye sublimation, this is not the blanket for you. They could have, and should have used black fleece material since the blanket is basically black.It barely qualifies as a blanket. The material is quite thin for an autum or winter throw. Sadly, it does not look good enough to even serve as simple decoration.I bought the 50x60 blanket, which is more expensive, and thereby a greater waste of money. But it was a Christmas present. Unfortunately it arrived so late that I could not risk sending it back to replace it with something worthy. So I packed it in a shirt box with room to spare. Yes, 3000 square inches of fleece blanket easily fit into a shirt box. When it arrived on my doorstep, I thought it was a shirt or sweater. Nope, it was 3000 square inches of blanket.I would not make this purchase again and would not recommend anyone else buy it either. Sorry, Harry.

The product does not match the photo and it’s a lot smaller

I bought one of each of the houses for my kids. They love them! Some are being used as couch blankets and on beds. The quality is excellent, very soft. Be aware these aren't uniform and perfect but they are, by far, the best from what I've seen available. Yes they are pricey but come on, it's Harry Potter and these are meant to last!

I bought this as a gift for a friend of mine. When I opened it, I was really surprised by how soft it was. I noticed also that the color wasn’t as vivid as it shows on the photo. It looked a little faded and there was a 3” piece of thread coming out of the blanket. Other than that, it’s not bad.

I just received this blanket in the mail. Shipping was fast and blanket is soft but it is extremely thin. I bought this as a gift and it doesn’t even come with a tag on it or anything. Disappointed with it not having a tag. Looks as though I am regifting it when it’s brand new

I got this for a xmas gift for a harry potter fan. Material seems to be good quality with a little bit of weight to it. but its kind of thin for the price.

The blanket is soft and lightweight, but the size is smaller than expected. I bought this for an adult but it’s really sized for a child.
