The extra star is for the included box cutter. The tape itself is misrepresented. It does not have the 1-1/2 inch core and therefore does not fit my tape holders. The tape itself is flimsy and gets tangled and stuck together easily as a result. It is very difficult to loosen if it gets stuck as it tears easily, so it is very frustrating to work with. I would have exchanged it upon arrival due to the fact inch opening as described which I also paid extra for probably the same product for that purpose only, so was totally ripped off, but was desperate for packaging tape at the time... Will never order again.

Very thin, and not very sticky. I have to use twice as much as I do other brands to have the same confidence level. Even so, I have had it release from my new shipping boxes before it even went out the door. I will not be purchasing again.

This tape is pathetic. It's so thin you can't start the roll properly. It just peels off in tiny bits instead of coming up in a whole strip of tape. It's ridiculously frustrating when you want to use it and can't even get a piece of tape the full width of the roll. Then it just tapers off and you have to start it again.

Yikes. I bought this without reading any reviews since I figured tape is tape.Trying to unravel the first bit from the side on the tip of the triangle just shreds the tape and trying from the other side takes forever.It is definitely thinner than name brand versions, but I’ve been able to pack boxes without it unraveling or ripping open. If you don’t mind putting in a lot more effort than you should have to in order to get the roll started, it is a lot less expensive per roll than name brands.The box cutter comes hidden inside the rolls so be careful when opening the package so you don’t drop it on your foot.

I've used dozens of rolls of different brand packing tape and have prepared hundreds of cartons for mailing, shipping, and moving. This was not a bad deal for the price--6 rolls of clear packing tape with adequate package thickness. It grabs cardboard and stays well-stuck after you burnish it down--an action needed when using all brands of shipping/packing tape--so don't skip this important step! The free metal stock knife included was a surprise--I was expecting a cheap plastic disposable, but the *metal* handle, while lightweight, feels sturdy when using. Out of the package, the blade edges could be a bit sharper, but overall, though, not bad for freebie.

It is an ok tape, not strong enough for me. And it came without the razor knife!And it is made in china, despite the American flag logo on it, not that is a problem. just saying for those wondering where it is made.

Bought this tape do to it is a reasonable price and I needed a lot of tape for taping all my moving boxes Now I regreat it because this tape is soooooo pathetic & it does not even come wirh the razo knife!!!!! What makes it pathetic ???? The tape upon opening it smells like the tape was rubed down with chemicals or oil compounds & I had a hard time geting that chemicals smell off my fingers futhermore the side of tape roll is very sticky and hard to pull the roll of tape off my fingers. DO NOT BUY THIS TAPE YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!!!

The tape was too thin that I have to wrap the package several times to make sure its tight, and It's not sticky enough.
